"Structured Foundation was a joy to work with throughout our foundation lift process! The company contact was professional, timely, and efficient. On the day of our foundation lift and additional pier/pylon installation, the engineering/construction team were also efficient, professional, and did a great job! We had quite a few large holes that needed to be dug, and the team returned each to a before dig state, prior to leaving. In the post procedure follow-up foundation survey conducted, our foundation leveling was positioned perfectly to prevent any future issues. I would recommend Structured Foundation for any similar needs!"

Over the past 20 years, we at Deck-O-Art have learned from our experiences and new technology advancements, leading us to build and reconstruct projects that can stand the test of time. We strive to keep our staff up to date with the latest techniques available. In addition to our concrete department we have skilled installers of ceramic tile, flagstone, brick and plastering. One of our most unique characteristics is that we do ALL the work, no subcontractors, so all quality workmanship is OURS!
"No question about it, Deck-O-Art is an excellent hardscape contractor. My project included a completely new drainage system for my backyard that ties into the pool deck. This drainage project solves a decades old water penetration issue at my house. Phase 2 was a complete and total renovation of my 40,000-gallon pool, including deck equipment, electrical, etc. Finally, my circular driveway was renovated from pea gravel to beautiful tile pavers, that included concrete dividers that really make it pop. The final result was so outstanding, that I hired Deck-O-Art to renovate a second pool and outdoor kitchen at our country getaway home. I thought that they couldn't beat what they constructed at my main house, but I was wrong. It is simply beautiful, and the new upsized outdoor kitchen is fantastic. You just can't go wrong with Art Manase and his team at Deck-O-Art. They are craftsmen without equal!"

"How did it go? Not well. Sales guy said we did not need replacement and only quoted a repair. When the carpenter showed up and said it needed replaced, not repaired but they could go ahead do the lower deck and fence stain while they were there. I came home that day to find stain dripped down the driveway and splattering my grille and pool cleaner covers ( which were no where near the fence or deck) and the top rail of fence was not stained. I was also peaved that they damaged a hose connection when they apparently used my pool fill hose to spray something down after staining. I contacted Shane and he had Wade the satin guy come out and power wash the stuff off the driveway, but they were not able to remove stains on the grille cover nor the pool cleaner cover. About 10 days later the carpenter returned with the wood to replace the pergola. The carpenter and helper did a good job. They took two days to tear out and replace. Wade returned after a few more days to stain that new wood and touch up scrapes left by the carpenter' ladder. I immediately noticed where parts of the new work did not get stained. With the stain being dark brown and the wood being pressure treated Yella wood it really stood out to me. The unstained areas were easy to reach and easy to see from the deck. It looked like he just forgot to hit those spots. I reported that to TBS. The admin assistant said she would speak with crew and the owner and get back to me. Two or three days after no response I contacted the office as they were sending final invoice for the work again. The lady I spoke with had Wade call me and he explained that he was going to take care of the grille cover and touch up work. I explained that it needed to be done ASAP and I was not happy that they left me in the dark thinking they were not going to follow up. He said he would not be back anytime soon as I was 2 hours from his house, but could return the following week. A couple days later I got the invoice notification again and i contacted them to say I can pay the invoice when they get the work completed or they can pay me $350 to finish it for them. A week went by before I got a reply that said the owner would like to accept my offer to finish it myself. So, I had to go buy some Behr and brushes and finish it after all. Now I'm left feeling that this contractor lacks quality control. If the sales guy came out after the work and sort of inspected it with the crew before trying to collect the invoice they would probably catch this stuff themselves and prevent the back and forth BS we endured. If they knew somebody was coming out to QC their work they might be more careful. And yes, I did contact Rocky. He said the hose they damaged was old and rotted anyway ( like that was the issue) and claimed I did not give them a chance to make it right. I guess it's too late now. caveat emptor"

6 employees. Uses Licensed subs for irrigation, lighting, brick work and carpentry. You plant around your design, not design around your plants. Confusing? Upon meeting with a new client, most people will typically tell me of their favorite plant(s). Putting plants in the lead position of the design process will guarantee you a landscape that resembles your neighbors and every other house on the street and across the community. It’s like determining the colors you will use in your new house and you haven’t yet designed the house! Like colours, plants are a medium. You must provide context in order to give meaning. This is the hardscape or ‘bones’ referred to in garden literature. Be it a simple graveled path, a grouping of boulders, or obedient deference to existing topography, this is what will provide year-round interest. It is also the framework that will suggest and therefore help you choose which plants and their placement. The end result is an aesthetic and harmonious integration of hardscape and softscape elements. The Walkabout Way acknowledges the on-site environmental realities (ecozone, drainage, sun, shade etc..) and integrating these along with the clients desired outside intentions (active/passive use) as the basis for formulating a design theme. The end result is a naturalistic approach that is environmentally and ecologically sensitive, yet aesthetically pleasing regardless of the season.

Think of cement as the glue and concrete as the finished product. Cement is a powdered mix of heated limestone and clay. When you blend that powder with water, sand, and gravel, it hardens into concrete—the strong, durable material used for driveways, patios, and foundations. In other words, every concrete slab contains cement, but cement on its own isn’t strong enough for a driveway.
The price to install an asphalt driveway is $7 to $13 per square foot, slightly less than concrete. However, asphalt requires more maintenance than concrete and does not last as long. This shortened lifespan and increased need for maintenance make concrete a more economical choice in the long term, but ultimately, the choice is up to each consumer.
Most residential driveways do fine with a four‑inch slab. If you’ll park heavy trucks or RVs, bumping up to six or even eight inches adds strength and wards off cracks. Thicker concrete costs more up front, but it can save you repair bills later by standing up to bigger loads and freeze‑thaw stress.
Concrete driveways and asphalt driveways differ in material composition and performance. A concrete driveway is engineered for lasting durability and versatile design options, while an asphalt driveway is more economical initially, yet demands increased maintenance over time. Concrete surfaces provide extensive aesthetic choices and an extended lifespan, making them a strong investment for high-traffic areas.
A concrete driveway endures for 25 to 30 years with proper maintenance and installation. A concrete driveway lasts long because its durable composition and robust construction provide excellent resistance to wear and weather. High-quality installation, regular cleaning, and timely sealing all contribute to extending its lifespan and maintaining performance over decades.
