"First it was all good but then the lillies came back up in the new grass. When I contacted them they said it would cost another $350 after I already spent over $2000 for what was suppose to be then care of. Talked to Steve after 2 weeks of waiting to hear back from him and basically it was sorry but too bad. I am 70 yr old so I'm digging them out myself and will fill in the dirt and seed again. Just hard to find good customer service even when you look on line for good ratings. Apparently they don't stand by their work."

"I used Warweg for the first time last year as my long-time irrigation guy retired. They were ok, not great but acceptable (3.5 out of 5). However, this year, they have apparently either gained more customers, lost several employees, or combination of both. I waited weeks for service on heads that needed fixed, while my lawn slowly died in the heat this year. When they finally showed up, they left my yard looking like a mole had done the work. I don't see a way to add photos here but, be assured, they left a mess that an amateur would be ashamed of. Trying to contact Warweg for any reason is frustrating as the office staff seems to have very little knowledge of why everything takes so long and they seem to be in a constant state of disarray. I'm going to find another irrigation service for next year. I would do so immediately but I paid up front for the entire year. I would strongly encourage any reader to keep looking for an irrigation service other than Warweg."

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.
The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.
Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
