"All I wanted to do is clean sweep my boiler Chimney, I had their advertisement from magazine promising $125 dollars for FULL CHIMNEY SPECIAL INCLUDING, 12 point inspection, carbon monoxide test, draft test, brush and vacuum. They came Inspected MY CHIMNEY to tell me THAT TOTAL job will cost close to $4500 dollars, I said TO HIM THAT all I need is JUST clean my chimney. They brushed from the top and told me that its finished. I asked him about Carbon Monoxide and draft test, he said he didnt have Carbon Monoxide test with him and it was not on his work order paper and and left my promise. I was not happy with answer at all. When I started my boiler smoke backed it up apparently they did not clean the bottom of the chimney so I immediately stopped my boiler to prevent miserable result, and called them. It was a phone service and told me that they will contact them to come back. I was so mad because my boiler guy was just cleaned the bottom of the chimney the day before for yearly contract I had. Now it was full of sud and debris. They came back and he blamed the new guy who suppose to suck from bottom and didnâ t do what he suppose to do. This time they Cleaned the bottom which they suppose to do in the first place again and left, they were not happy to come back at all. I would never ever do anything with these people, all they do is try to SELL YOU UNRELATED items to your chimney which will be costing THOUSANDS of dollars and it is not true, because I was also in construction business before I retired. Also Their 3 sales people go around the block to sell more stuff to your neighborhood based on your address. Just try to look somewhere else but not THIS PEOPLE, NOT ADV-NY"

When explaining what I needed done he rest assured we were in good hands. They came removed the furniture with no damage done to my home. Very fairly priced. His professionalism prompt and great customer service I would recommend this company to all my family and friends. "

"Two years later, we had a chimney cleaning from another company and they reviewed the work of the North American chimney and they clearly did not do it up to code to put on the cap and took the easy way, used the wrong size cap and bolted it down so it would not be easy for future cleanings."

"Needed my dryer vent cleaned. When Ned called I explained to him that I had two 90 degree angles. He assured me he had all the equipment needed to handle this job. When the two men arrived my husband showed them a picture of the two angles in the vent. One guy didn't speak english and walked away. Didn't even want to look at the picture. The other guy who spoke limited english just told us to call his boss. We told him his boss had already assured us they could do the job. Now for all the equipment they brought - a generator that they couldn't even get started. We have an outlet out back and told them to use it. They then just put a small hose in the vent which was blowing air. I was in the closet with the dryer and could hear the hose as it came in. It stopped at the first angle and couldn't bend to go any further. They then left. I was also told that they would bag up any lint that came out on the lawn. Big surprise - there wasn't any. My vent is still clogged."

"I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing. He was professional and honest about what needed to be done. I was more then pleased with him and the company. I highly recommend .Chimneys are us."

"Zero Stars! Totally inept! Unreliable and incapable of even showing up! Showed up the first time 6 hours late and stayed 3 1/2 hours and didn't fix the problem then charged me $482 for the labor. Then promised to install a new gas fireplace at a discount and failed to show up for the appointment! Two technicians show up at the rescheduled time and they don't have the new fireplace with them. They returned to the garage to get the new unit and never returned! Called the office to be told that they couldn't do the job and suggested that I contact another company! One of the worst experiences I have ever had to deal with. They should stick to cleaning chimneys! I wouldn't even trust them to do that!"
