"Reliable and excellent cleaning service. Alex and Mary and staff treated our home and furnishings like it was their own. They took great care and spent extra time on heavily soiled areas. Even removed pet stains from floors and baseboards and washed walls and windows. Alex followed up to make certain we were satisfied with the work done and offered to return to clean a window we had not noticed was overlooked. I would definitely use AV again and recommend them to friends and family."

"She arrived late, but it was the day before Thanksgiving. She did a great job -- very thorough. However, she brought her own supplies; while some might appreciate this, I do not. I am sensitive to fragrances and I would have preferred that she had used my cleaning products. My pet peeve is someone moving my stuff and not putting it back where it was. Because she spoke no English, she could not ask me where things belonged. She did a great job, but I will not be hiring her again."

"I am currently recovering from several foot procedures, so my place was in major disarray! The service provided was timely, respectful of the property, efficiently done. Some decluttering was done. Suggestions on switching out wire hangers, which I did. Overall I was well pleased with the service provider, and probably we use it on a monthly basis. Since this visit was a deep cleaning."

When you hire a housekeeper or cleaning service, there are some questions you’ll need to ask to ensure you’re hiring the right person for the job. Writing down a list of services you want to be completed is a great place to start. This way, you’ll have all the information you need when you do interview a housekeeper or cleaning service, and they can provide you with accurate information and cost estimates.
Find out upfront if the housekeeper or cleaning company offers the services you need, especially if you have requests that go beyond basic services.
Do they charge a flat fee each week? Do they charge an hourly rate? Some companies charge based on your home’s square footage or the number of bedrooms you have.
Many companies may provide some smaller cleaning supplies, but they may need to use your vacuum cleaner or mop. Others bring their own or none at all. And if you’re particular about the types of chemicals used in your home, you may want to ask what products they use or if they’re willing to use what you provide.
Anytime you have a professional in your home, something could go wrong. They could get hurt, or some of your property may be damaged. Ask what would happen in these scenarios — a well-qualified professional will have the necessary insurance and bonding to cover these situations.
