"The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

"Fifteen years back, I hired Cesar to do the borders on my front yard, and I absolutely loved it! I was on the hunt for someone to match my backyard, and while repainting my kitchen, I found his card behind my fridge. I thought, why not give him a call? To my astonishment, he’s still in business after all these years! He answered the phone and came over to give me a free estimate. Cesar managed to recreate the same pattern to match the front of my house and gave me a fair price. He designed the borders to complement my yard and even created a safer step-off for my patio using some leftover pavers I had. I had also bought a new shed, and he was so kind put it together and build a paver base to keep it stable. Also I needed my sprinkler system fixed, and he referred another guy for that. Now my yard is absolutely stunning! My neighbors noticed this and they started using his services. While he was working on their yard, he even came by to help me blow the leaves off my sidewalk. We have done a job in 2016 for him and after long time trying to get paid he got a court decision, of which he still not following. when we were working he metioned that we had to complete the job on his timeframe as we were working for him and not for the homeowner but when the time to get paid came, he said that he did not received from the homeowner so he would not pay. We are in 2022 and he still owns me from that job, he is changing his business name from time to time and still doing that with the subcontracted team that he hires! So many good people to deal with, so don`t do like me, find a nice company to work with. I can asure that the probability to have probems with him is high!! Any company that does not have Stuart as a partner is already a better begining!!"

Concrete deliveries FAQs
The amount of space that one yard of concrete covers depends on your desired thickness. The thicker the concrete is, the greater the volume it needs to fill to cover the same surface area. With four inches of thickness, one cubic yard of concrete covers 81 square feet. With five inches of thickness, one cubic yard covers 65 square feet. With six inches of thickness, one cubic yard covers 54 square feet.
Ready-mixed concrete in its wet form lasts about 90 minutes to two hours, so it’s important to schedule your concrete delivery accurately. From the time water gets added, a truck has up to 300 rotations of the barrel to deliver the wet concrete. The warmer the temperature, the faster the product sets.
Bags of dry concrete mix have a typical shelf life of a few months if stored in an airtight container with controlled temperature and humidity. The cement reacts to moisture in the air, losing its strength over time.
Most large concrete trucks can hold a maximum of 11 to 15 cubic yards of concrete. However, weight limits on most roads can limit this capacity to around eight to 11 cubic yards per delivery. For context, you’ll need three to four truckloads of concrete to pour a 10-inch foundation for a new home that covers 1,000 square feet.
Assuming the work site has been fully prepped and is reasonably accessible for the concrete delivery truck, pouring one cubic yard of concrete takes about 10 minutes on average. A fully loaded truck with 10 cubic yards of concrete takes around one hour and 40 minutes of continuous pouring to empty its barrel.
