"Edge missed their 30-day follow-up visit, and just texted me that they serviced my home, but all three of us were home all night and no knock, doorbell ring, or call, they never showed. So then I have to put in for a service call, and their first thought is "oh, I should upsell her on a $100 service for mosquitoes that goes out 100 ft from her townhouse with 5 feet of lawn." I'm obviously irritated and not likely to give them more money since they don't even show when they're supposed to...and then they don't show up for the follow-up call, I can't make this up. I would cancel if I could, but you get locked into a contract with them, so now I am stuck paying for pest control I am not getting."

"Well...I do want to be fair during a pandemic. I probably would not have called except for the spiders. We had been killing a lot of spiders, our cats had been catching and killing them too. I know that scheduling workers can be difficult, and our job was a small one for $55, there's much bigger jobs and more money to be made. But, it is still a job, and should be treated with some respect. Scheduling was an issue. Not so much for us, we are retired and home most of the time anyway. They called the day of to reschedule because the technician's wife was ill. That's understandable and no problem, so we agreed to change the time. Only problem was that no one showed up at the rescheduled time. So had to change again. Like I said, we are home anyway. Someone did show up for the new time at a new day. I would say that he was not thrilled to be on this job. It was supposed to be his day off, he told us repeatedly. He obviously wanted to just get the heck out of there. Again, understandable, human nature, but slow down, guy! He went around the perimeter of the house and through the rooms inside and sprayed a pesticide along the baseboards. When he pulled down the door to the attic I had to ask him to slow down, we have two cats who could easily run up there. I also asked him about an infestation of huge flies in the guest bedroom, he had no idea and told me to call the mosquito guys. So he finished in what must be record time. When he first arrived, I noticed that he was not wearing a face mask. I thought the receptionist had said that the company checks the employees' temperature daily and that they wear face masks in customers' homes. I could be wrong, but that's what I remember. No one has been in our home without a face covering since this COVID situation began--in fact, no one had been beyond our entryway as we both fall into the "vulnerable" group. I suppose I could have asked him to leave, but I kept waiting for him to put it on! I covered my nose and mouth as much as possible. So at the end, he was super anxious to get out of our house and get to wherever he was going, but not half as anxious as I was to get him out of my home. Never again. I will call someone else and pay more $$."

"I hired Protex for extermination of cockroachs, as I live next to a couple who where "Meth Addicts". Their apartment was overrun with roaches, after they moved out the Landlord started renovation of that unit. I started seeing roaches, 2-3 a day. I had protex come out and treat my unit. I was so impressed with the service, knowledgeable exterminator so polite and nice. Well a WEEK Later, I hadn't seen one dead roach. I saw frequently roaches, so I called Protex., they need to do something. I got a friendly receptionist who told me " I had German Roaches, an infestation, NO GUARANTEE" 89.95 to come BACK OUT, and she turned RUDE TELLING ME TGAT I HAD A ROACH INFESTATION. The exterminator saw "2" roaches on initial visit, that doesn't suggest an infestation. The audacity of this company to demand (1 week) later after not seeing even a dead roach repayment for another try....."
