Since it was going to rain before they could get to the job they came out and patched all the holes they could and covered areas that needed covering. On the day of work they diligently covered everything with tarp around the outside and put protective boards up around the windows. Am I able to complete my small Royal oak bungalow in 3 and 1/2 hours?."

"Mitten Home Company just did a roof replacement a few weeks back and we are very happy with the work, the quality of the material, and the amount of time Dimas, Aaron and Chrisopher spent explaining the different options. It was very appreciated. Our roof replacement included: * Removal of the old Shingles * Removal of two Skylights * Removal of two Attic Fans * Replaced lots of rotted OSB wood (over 25 sheets) * Ice and Water Shield the full roof because of low pitch. * Installed Malarkey Vista AR class 4 Impact Rating shingle * Note: The Shingles had different warranties, which would be hard to explain here. * Mitten 5-year guarantee along with a free annual inspection during the 5 years. * Terms included one with no money down, a 50% deposit same day of material delivery, and the remainder of the balance within 24 hours of completion. "I was very happy with my experience with Rock Solid Exteriors. First I met Levi when he came out (in the rain) to look at my roof and provided a great estimate. Next I spoke with Tammie in the office to get the process moving forward. My project got scheduled quickly and within a week I was meeting the Brian, Luke and the rest of the team at my home. The roofing team did a great job of protecting my patio and landscape. Each time I came outside to see what work was going on, Brian answered any questions I had. Once they were done they cleaned up and as I walked the yard with them and each time I asked a question or pointed something out they patiently answered all questions. When I asked if they could take "one more pass" with the magnet for nails they said no problem and did another sweep. "LIARS. I will never recommended this company. They break their contract and don’t make it right!! Cleanliness: 0/10. We had to pick up nails, screws and staples from our driveway, yard, and dog run. fast food wrappers and plastic from materials all of yard and woods. In the process of demolishing, they damaged our personal property and did nothing about it. Craftsmanship: 2/10. In the process of installing the roof, multiple areas where flashing was or was supposed to be was not replaced. I personally had to leave work to go buy, pick up, and deliver facia boards for the crew due to their unpreparedness. In the process of changing the facia, they damaged our siding which they decided to just throw some caulk and wood filler over. When the roof was being quoted it was identified that we were going to be getting new gutters yet when the install of roof happened, the crew cut the drip edge around every gutter bracket instead of asking me to remove it or removing it. Now the gutters are off and there are a lot of not needed notches everywhere. To add to nails and staples, there were a lot more all in the gutters. Flashing flew off the roof and sat in my yard for months waiting for it to be fixed. We also have a couple soft/spongy spots that were supposed to be fixed but never got fixed. Communication: 1/10. Our roof was completed in November of 2023 for nearly $30,000. Since then, we have had a crew come back to replace flashing and fix roof vents. We had another crew come out to fix the siding and drip edge. We have been told by 2 people now that to “make it right” we would get money back and also get the necessary work done but now I’m being asked to pay the remainder $750 bill and that we will “not get any money back because they had to send their crews out three time which has cost them a lot of money” I don’t care if it cost them a lot of money because the job should have been done right, it’s warrantied work, still hasn’t been finished, and I should not have to have put under over a year of stress. I have called multiple times now to get this settled but have not received a call back just an email with a bill. I was hoping for better but have been left disappointed, disheartened, and very frustrated. For nearly $30000 I would think there would be a lot more urgency to rectify this situation that they have put us in."
