"They arrived on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. When projects were added on, they worked us into their schedule and completed the work quickly. Everyone was polite, professional and responsive from the initial phone call to the final payment. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again for future projects."

Deck Repair, Bathroom Remodel
"These guys can build anything and probably fix anything . Decks , holes in walls, flooring ect. Ià  à ¢à  à  à  à  ve known them both personally for years and then they came and helped me fix my house up before we sold it. Super nice people that you can trust in your home. Cory is great about staying in contact, answering phone calls and answering your questions. Always shows up when he says he will. Ià  à ¢à  à  à  à  ve had other people in western NC do work for me and it was a total nightmare. I would never call anyone but Cory. He even winterized RV for me while I was out of town and then went back and cut the water back on for me while I was in SC so the realtor could show it. This guy can do about anything you could possibly want done and I trusted him to be in my house when I wasnà  à ¢à  à  à  à  t there. All of our neighbors started using him also bc other contractors up there are a nightmare. He built a room on for our neighbor and she was totally happy with it. They are both great people. Highly recommend!"

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
