"Have used this company for several years; was very, very happy initially with the improvements made to the lawn and the customer service. We would often pay for the extra services as we felt they would have a positive impact on our curb appeal. In the past year, the quality of our lawn care and the way it looks has declined. We now have more weeds in our lawn than we did when we initially started using the service. We have paid for the extra weed treatments on top of the monthly treatments but there has been little to no improvement. We have asked for advice but there is clearly a frustration with us as customers that is evident. Our last email/communication has not received any response. Mike was courteous and knowledgeable, but, when we sat down to review the quote, the sales process turned into a bad car-buying experience. They started at $34,000, then "discounted" to $29,300—$10,000 -$12,000 higher than other quotes for the exact same unit. Even factoring in their warranty, they remained $8,000–$10,000 overpriced. Mike also claimed they were a four-generation family-owned business, but I later found out they’re owned by Sila Services, a Goldman Sachs private equity firm—which feels misleading. To their credit, canceling was easy (though I hadn’t signed a financing agreement or put money down). Bottom line: Get multiple quotes. Their pricing was excessive, and the sales tactics felt manipulative."
