Local, full service concrete contractor specializing in both custom stamped & standard concrete. New construction, additions, repairs, and replacements.
"I called several companies to get pricing on a 24x18 concrete patio, and Paul was the first one to call me back and the first one to come out to do a site visit. He was courteous and professional during the entire process, and never attempted to pressure me into upgrading or getting something I didn't need. When it came time to schedule the pour, Paul was able to fit us in very quickly, and even when there was a delay due to his concrete supplier being backlogged because of a rain delay, it only resulted in a one-day delay, and Paul was upfront and in touch the entire time. On the day of the pour, Juan Carlos and his team were scheduled to show up at 7:00am, but showed up about 20 minutes early, which is better than 20 minutes late! He and his team quickly got to work prepping the area, and by 12:00 they had completely finished the project, cleaned up the area, and had left house/yard/driveway in the same shape as before the arrived. The only difference was the beautiful new patio! Probably the best part for me was the personal visit from Paul afterwards to inspect the work. Based on my experience, I would whole-heartedly recommend Paul and his team from Maryland Curbscape to anyone looking to get concrete work done. I waited a while to write this review, because I wanted my father-in-law to take a look at the patio. He did masonry and concrete for about 40 years, and once he gave his seal of approval, I knew I had let Paul and his team know how thankful my family and I are that we have a new space for anything we can think of."

Brad had over 15 years of experience in the industry and wanted to create a landscaping company that could hold true to the concept of “quality landscaping.” Ever since then we've been constantly growing as a high-end hardscape, landscape design, and commercial maintenance business. Over the course of our existence, we've earned a great reputation for quality service and we aim to not just maintain our reputation for excellence but to constantly improve it. That's why we only hire the best of the best. Our management team alone has over 30 years of experience in the industry and members of management used to maintain the White House. The rest of our team is similarly qualified and has over 100 years of combined experience. At SBC Outdoor Services we believe that landscaping is an art, not just a skill. We not only teach our employees proper installation methods but also encourage them to take initiative and to completely pour their imagination and skill into their work. "SBC did a fantastic job building me a new deck and re-paving the patio area underneath. Justin was great in coming out to measure the area and discuss options for both the deck and the patio. Steve's teams did a wonderful job with the work itself. Everything was done exactly as stated and the end product was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The reason for this not being a 5 start review is two-fold. First, all of the work was scheduled at the last minute, with less than 24 hours notice of when the teams would be out to deliver materials or do the work. Luckily this didn't end up being an issue, but it could be difficult if you're trying to schedule explicitly around the project. Second is the difficulty in getting the final piece of work completed, for installing an exterior electric outlet. It took an extra month after the completion of all other work to get that done. If electrical work is required, I'd recommend contracting that externally to SBC."
