"David called me as soon as I sent a request for quotes on a late Saturday night. He was very knowledgeable, and VERY passionate about remodeling homes. I looked up review online, and many had lots to rave about their work. After reviewing options, we ended working with David, Bill, and their team. The initial reach out was end of October, and we finalized plans by December. Started work in early January. We finished in early February. Anytime I noticed something, Bill and David would take it seriously and make sure to resolve it. There were hiccups here and there, but they would take care of them as they come. David knows I can be stickler for things, but so is he and Bill, and they make sure to take care for any concerns or needs we had. Bill cares very much about the little details, and they usually do awesome small and BIG things that we didn’t even think about. I wish I had before photos, but most of the home was designed for the 90s, and now feel very modern. In terms of any out of nowhere cost, there surprisingly weren’t ANY hidden fees or surprise bills. If anything, I paid them additional things that weren’t in the initial quote because I thought of them afterwards, and David still gave great prices. Otherwise, Triple RRR went above and beyond. In terms of price, I think they are kind of in the middle of price, but the quality is great. Better yet, they have excellent communication, and are always a phone call away. We have had some issues with some of our flooring, and they are actively working on it. From start to finish, these guys were phenomenal. We are currently in discussions regarding the kitchen as a future project."

"Everything went great! They came and cleaned out the flowerbed, put a stone border around it and my tree, Dug up all weeds, put down weed barrier and planted two new rose bushes and 4 other plants. It looked great! I texted about a month after they finished and asked where they had gotten the plants because some weren’t looking too hot (they have since revived) and asked about the weed barrier because I have weeds growing up around the edges and in a few other places. I was told that they would come out that Saturday. I waited all day and no one. I got busy and a couple weeks went by. I texted again with a picture of the weeds. I was told they would come this past Monday. Still waiting. I really want to give them 5 stars because the initial work was done while I was in the hospital so everything g was done via text. I just can’t because I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for them to come clean it up and make sure there is weed barrier all over."

"In August 2022, after hearing about DFW Improved on a home improvement radio show, we entered into two contracts with them for a roof replacement and interior water damage repair. These contracts were based on insurance-approved scopes following the 2021 ice storm. DFW Improved began the roof replacement project first. Following the replacement, the roof continued to leak due to their failure to replace the flashings. Despite corresponding work items in the insurance scope (confirmed later by the insurance adjuster's email), the DFW Improved salesperson insisted that flashing was not part of the roof. He threatened legal action if further payment was not made. Prior to this, they presented two identical model shingles as choices, which their own roof subcontractor on-site disclosed. Upon our inquiry via email, instead of addressing the issue, the salesperson accused us of defaming their company. Furthermore, they quoted $900 for a non-existent siding hole and estimated $25,000 for a bookcase, which their own designer valued at $6,000 to $7,000. While the roof leaking issue was still unresolved, DFW Improved began interior work. Instead of submitting the agreed supplement request as agreed, they skipped necessary steps to cut water-damaged drywall. To prevent wasted effort, we instructed workers to stop. The salesperson responded, stating that workers would not proceed with any work not approved by insurance. However, he emailed the insurance company claiming that the work had already been completed, causing significant confusion for us. During the halt period, we sent out numerous issues such as broken air pipes, cracked roof rafters, missing insulation, roof holes, missing felt paper, and a leaking roof. However, we received no response other than prevaricate explanations and demanding for money. We escalated to the DFW Improved upper manager who responded that they are their best team members and disregarded our request for an alternative project team. DFW Improved abandoned the projects and warranties, and initiated separation in December 2022. Both parties engaged in negotiations over separation costs. During this process, DFW Improved unexpectedly sent four individuals to our house, claiming to inspect texture work and demanding payment. Subsequently, DFW Improved placed a lien on our house, and their lawyer sent a demanding letter stating they would auction our house and (quote)“sue Vigorously” if payment was not made, despite the mediation/arbitration clause clearly outlined in the contracts. Under this pressure, we filed a claim in Tarrant County Small Claims Court, where the lien was placed. Later, their lawyer filed a motion to transfer the case to Collin County, where DFW Improved is based. We refused to comply with a demand for $5,000 and the confidentiality requirement during mediation. DFW Improved filed a new case simultaneously in the higher Tarrant County District Court, demanding a new amount of $59,845 and seeking to enforce the lien, providing no explanation for this amount. According to their co-owner's email, their accounting book calculated that we owed them a total of $1,260 (detailed below). During pre-mediation discussions, their lawyer attempted to justify their request for $8k, citing that a significant portion was allocated to attorneys' fees. We did not engage their lawyer to send us a threatening letter containing false statements about suing us without mediation. Their lawyer also declined $65 public mediator service provided by the Tarrant Small Claims Court. Additionally, they unilaterally escalated the dispute to a higher court. We have never been late with their payments. In fact, DFW Improved made a math error by crediting the blind work twice. When we brought this to their attention, DFW Improved spent extra time correcting the invoice, and their salesperson initiated an internal investigation. Any delay was certainly not caused by us. DFW Improved filed a lien attempting to collect the costs again, despite already receiving payment. See the invoice they submitted, which completely overlooks the $35,895.76 payment we made (supported by our bank transactions). —-------------The payment schedule on the contract has major math errors—--------- Payments for the work are due as follows: Contract Total $ 194,972.33 $ 19,497.23 deposit is due at initial design meeting.(10% of the Contract Total) 20% of the Contract Total is due at the preconstruction meeting. 30% of the Contract Total is due at start of drywall repair. ←– we requested halt at this phase and according to texas property code Sec. 28.003. EXCEPTION FOR GOOD FAITH DISPUTE; we can WITHHOLDING up to 110% of the difference between the amount the obligee claims is due and the amount the obligor claims is due. 30% of the Contract Total is due at start of countertop/trim installation. ←–we don’t even have any work for countertop 17% of the Contract Total is due at walkthrough. Remaining contract total is due at completion. 10%+20+30%+30%+17% + Remaining is more than 107%! He helped us to make a difficult and expensive purchase decision. The contract was signed Friday evening and the work was completed by Thursday afternoon. The installers Ricardo and Omar arrived promptly on install day morning at 8am and worked quickly to do all the work by 4pm. They respected our home and kept work areas clean with tarps.
