"Had him rebuild an old patio cover in my yard. All we kept were the posts and two beams. Replaced all else. Came out very nice. Couple months later had him do some porch railing and window sill repairs on a rental house my mother owns. Nice work, very fair price. Will definitely use him again."

"They were reasonably priced, were on time, worked efficiently and quicker than I expected, and cleaned up everything afterwards, making sure there were no nails for my cars, kids, or dogs to find. Great craftsmanship and skill. They also installed a solar light with minimal mess that looks and works well. I would highly recommend them."

"We used Future Vision and Remodeling to remodel our master bathroom. Throughout the process, everyone was responsive. They followed through on everything they promised for the price they promised. I had gotten 3 quotes, and decided to go with them because they were so much more professional than the others. They always made sure I am happy throughout the entire process, and we had good communication via text, emails, and phone calls. Highly recommended."

"One of the biggest benefits is the fact that they have both the home design and the building aspects of the project. The owner of the business is very creative and even after the design is completed, he still brings improvments to the design as it goes along!"

"Jose was friendly and professional. My job was not considered large by any means (re-hanging a gate) but he completed it in short order and cleaned up after himself. I really appreciated the fact he wanted to insure I was satisfied with the work because he needed to cut an inch off of the gate.....which I was. I would certainly call him again."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
