"I thought about an addition for several years; then interviewed and received bids from about 6 companies. I wanted a workroom with: * built-in storage cabinets and desk * space for the washer, dryer, freezer, and sauna. * ample space for my projects JB Construction’s bid was reasonable and fair. Joe is professional, honest, responsive, and easy to work with. He finds and hires quality subcontractors, and I am impressed with the work that was completed on my addition. He is hands-on, was involved in the process, and checked in often as the work progressed. He actually did quite a bit of the work himself. I really appreciated how Joe suggested improvements that I never would have thought of. These included enlarging the space from 280 to 320 sq ft, adding a sun tunnel when the skylight wouldn’t work with the roof line, a built-in cabinet where a window was removed, an exterior electrical outlet, and an overhead light in the corner cupboard. Joe was able to salvage and reuse the old brick on the front of the addition. This, along with the two original windows integrated the addition seamlessly with the rest of the house. It was done so perfectly; neighbors have asked where the addition was built. I’m extremely picky and am thrilled with my new addition. It’s lovely, functional, and my preferred room in my house. Joe has a lot of repeat customer jobs and I can see why. This was a great experience and I’m glad I went with him. I plan to use JB Construction for future projects and recommend him to everyone I know."

"Mr. Jose Barnica and his team were very personable and considerate to me in the renovation of my bedroom that got destroyed when the ceiling collapsed on July 28, 2025. Jose and his team explained the renovation process from start to finish and worked with my vision of how I wanted my room to look. They were very respectful of my brother and I and would let know when they were leaving for the day. If there was a situation that occurred they would always inform of any changes that would need to be done before administering them. They were considerate and careful with their equipment whenever they had to enter and leave my home. Anytime I had any questions about anything in the room, they would always explain they entire process and that always kept my mind at ease. "I can't say enough good things about Justin and Affinity Construction! Our project went from a wood frame RV carport 20x45 to an enclosed garage. Justin came out several times as we worked through the build plan. Affinity was covering all the bases from foundation to paint color. Justin is great to work with and goes the extra mile to ensure the customer gets what they want. Unfortunately, the city had easement issues on the build site and wouldn't allow a structure to be built. We had no other suitable location for the garage, so the project was scrapped.
