Even though it is a small kitchen, it was a complex job, due to the layout change, sub-floor and window replacement, as well as extending one of the walls. Kris, the project manager, did an excellent job coordinating the work as well as helping out with design features. The job was completed timely (despite city inspection delays) and without issues. "We hired Pacific Outdoor Living to do a bunch of projects in our small space in Burbank. They built an amazing water feature, added some grass to a space that was formerly concrete slab, completely changed our front yard from a lawn that was all weeds to a beautiful garden, built a stone wall in front of aforementioned garden, converted our sprinklers to drip irrigation, and added some lighting. From Andrew the designer to Chad, Jorge, and Daniel the supervisors to all the workers, everyone at this company is top notch. They got the job done super quickly, and were as professional as can be. They were more expensive than the other bids we got, but this was one of those "you get what you pay for" situations and we couldn't be happier with the results. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat."

"Cipriano is FANTASTIC. He's punctual, responsive, knowledgeable, and takes tremendous PRIDE in his work - so it SHOWS. His work is TOP NOTCH. He replaced some really crappy turf that another installer had talked me into, and he installed beautiful, thick, high-end turf that looks real and feels amazing. And he did it all in LESS time than he said it would take, despite having to do it in between rain storms! He rearranged all the sprinklers, organized the system, moved an incredibly heavy piece of stone to another part of the yard, and just did an overall BEAUTIFUL job on our back yard! I cannot possibly recommend him HIGHLY ENOUGH!! I've had turf installed by three other companies in the past, and C.Perez is by FAR the absolute BEST. Quality, price, and professionalism! "We first met with Liz, the landscape designer, and contracted her to do a design plan.  She listened well to our needs and came back with a plan that we really liked, particularly the design of the lawn terrace.  She provided helpful options for our design dilemmas, such as replacements for our gravel patio.  She offered options at various price points to give a sense of the range of options.  In the end, she came up with ideas that we would never have thought of on our own.
The crew did great work. I feel very comfortable with the quality of the work, particularly the retaining walls (including french drains, waterproofing).  Dee, the owner and contractor lead, made some good changes as the plan was implemented, such as incorporating a bench along the lawn terrace and removing unnecessary stairs. They gladly accommodated two changes we made along the way (changed retaining wall materials from timber to cinder blocks, enlarged size of paver patio area).  
We had a few issues getting the new irrigation system working 100%, but Dee was on top of the issues and fixed the items promptly.  He was committed to making sure we were 100% satisfied with the final results.  He said they will come back after 90 days to replace any dead plants and fix any issues, if any.  
Overall, I would gladly work with G & L Design again and recommend them to others with their landscaping projects.  We couldn't be happier with the end product."

"We had 1500 sq ft of turf installed in our backyard. It was pricy, but all turf is pricy these days AND these guys are awesome to work with. They are complete professionals and absolutely know what they are doing. Having dealt with a lot of unreliable contractors, we’ve decided we will pay extra if it means I’m getting a pro experience with no headaches. They arrived at all meetings on time and prepared. Their payment plan was reasonable. We were able to book the installation pretty quickly; about a week after we decided to move forward. The installation team were professional, efficient, cleaned up and did it all in one day! They were also able to work around existing sprinklers that I wanted to keep operational."
