I described what I had in mind in terms of wood, colors, and size, and the owner (Greg) crafted the most beautiful table made out of a beautiful piece of macacauba wood and paired with a gorgeous epoxy color and a perfect set of black metal table legs. Greg completed the project on schedule and delivered the piece himself. The table is stunning, so I rearranged my furniture to make it a centerpiece in my sitting area, and I use it daily as my desk working from home. It is truly a piece of functional art. I am so glad I went with STL Woodworking for this project."

"I had called 4 roofing companies and got none of my calls returned. I hired a contractor finally. After waiting 6 months on the contractor I hired who kept putting me off a friend called 1stop for me. They were out at the exact time they said they would be. The estimate was a few 100 dollars more than my previous estimate but after waiting 6 months I didn’t care. One guy came out to do the job which took 2 days. That was the quietest worker and he cleaned up the work area very well even putting a tarp down to collect debris. I would hire this company again. Work was good, cost very reasonable,"

I asked the owner(?), Rodney Mills for a refund of my $2,700 deposit; he said they don't give deposits. There was absolutely no work done on his company's part, no start date was ever established (he can't claim that he had made any effort, material commitment, etc). Do not recommend this company to anyone because if a company keeps your deposit with no work done on their part, imagine what you might be in for if they do unsatisfactory/questionable work for you?"

Installing a single kitchen cabinet takes about 1.25 hours for professional installation, with an average kitchen usually requiring about 25 to 35 hours of labor to install a full set of cabinets. Custom work can easily take two or three times as long, including the time to design and build the cabinets.
Local cabinet installers who specialize in home remodel finishing work typically install cabinets. You can hire a general handyperson to install most cabinets, but it’s typically recommended to hire a cabinet specialist when installing custom cabinets. If you order your cabinets through a big-box retailer, they often supply the labor as part of the project cost.
The cost of kitting out the average kitchen runs anywhere from $1,340 to $38,400. “Kitting” means to package everything together and is another way to refer to full kitchen remodel costs. In terms of a kitchen, this means remodeling all the cabinets, floors, countertops, appliances, and fixtures at the same time.
Always hang the upper cabinets before installing the lower cabinets. If the lower kitchen cabinets are installed first, it can be challenging to work around them. Plus, if tools or materials are dropped while hanging the upper cabinets, the cabinets already installed beneath them may get damaged.
Base cabinets for kitchen islands and breakfast bars are attached to the floor (down to the underlayment and subfloor). This keeps them from shifting as you lean on them. The cabinet installer uses basic wood screws to secure these cabinets to the floor. However, cabinets that run along a wall don’t need to be fastened. Instead, the contractor secures them to studs in the wall.
