"John, owner of JAW Construction, is a personable earnest contractor who goes beyond what is expected to make sure you are satisfied. He first replaced a laminate floor in the kitchen when we had a leak that ruined it. He found the leak--a punctured water supply line to the refrigerator and disconnected it, since the ice maker is non functional. He suggested a Luxury Vinyl floor (wood simulated) because it would not be damaged by water. The job was quick, expert, and very reasonably priced. So when we decided to replace worn and animal stained carpet with a wood or laminate floor last November, we called JAW. Again, John recommended a Luxury Tile Floor again because it would resist dog pee or cat hairball flem, if not noticed for a period of time. We went with Cortec again through a distributor John recommended and got a floor with the thickest clear wear protection. Whole install took four days for a 1200 s.f. home and it looks beautiful. No flaws, he even got woodwork professionally stained in a modern style as we went with a dark wood design. Workers were professional, cleaned up and left home in perfect condition. Definitely would hire again."

"In our new house, there was a large (20ft by 25ft) bonus room that wasn't very useful. In early 2018, we wanted to convert it into a bedroom, a bathroom and a small study. We solicited quotes from three contractors, including Superior Building Concepts. When Stan arrived, he looked around, took some notes, asked a couple of questions, and left - the whole thing took 5-10min. We were wondering if he was really that interested in the project... but when the three quotes came in, his was in the middle, but was by far the most detailed, with everything broken up into line items. And, it was thought out better than the other two - in spite of him spending only 5-10min at the house. So, we signed up with Stan to get the work done. The work itself included framing for the new walls/doors, plumbing for the bathroom, installing tile, marble countertop, custom cabinetry, bathtub, new windows (for egress), insulation work, painting, new lighting etc. Multiple adjustments to the plan were made to accommodate our preferences - Stan was very flexible in changing the plan, gave us new adjusted quotes for everything. I've attached some pictures - two of them are of the original bonus room, and the rest are the bedroom/bathroom/study after the work was done. Overall, Stan's quiet competence, work ethic, honesty, flexibility and professionalism were incredible - this was the best contractor experience we've ever had. Since then, Stan has become our go-to general contractor for everything, and we've recommended him to family/friends ever since. (I'll write another review on the deck replacement Stan did.) We would recommend Stan for any contractor work without reservations."

"We completed an extensive remodel in the finishing of our basement. This included structural work which required moving multiple structural supports. The group was professional and competent. The design plans were finalized working with Mike B. who had good ideas, was organized and very pleasant. The majority of the work was performed by our contractor Josh who was highly capable, attentive to detail and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The supervising contractor Mike M. was great and he was in contact throughout the job As is typical for any major remodel, some issues came up, specifically with the subs, and Josh and Mike M. were there to make sure that issues were resolved in a fair and appropriate manner. "Val and his crew did EXCEPTIONAL WORK! They removed entire outside wall siding (including window), Installed new window, and siding, trimmed and painted everything. They installed new roof/gutter flashing and brought all up to code. Inside of house, replaced and repaired drywall, and matched old paint perfectly.
