"Anthony was very responsive to my request, kept me posted on arrival and came on the weekend to get the job done. He provided great advice and replaced all our problematic smoke detectors with new ones quickly and efficiently. We have not had a problem since. We highly recommend Anthony and Meninno Electric and will be using their services again soon for light fixture replacement."

"I came home from work to find all my drains were not draining. I tried some basic troubleshooting, but could not figure out the issue. I called heritage ( which was after hours). Within an hour, the technician Derek arrived, I gave all the information to him, and he started immediately. We narrowed it down to an issue with the septic. 10pm we are outside digging up the septic to get a look. Dereks knowledge and experience quickly identified the issue. The whole time he was friendly and informative. It didnâ t matter the time of night it was, he was determined to fix the issue. He was repairing in a way that would keep the cost down. That rarely happens with contractors. Within 30 minutes, he had the main drain cleared from the house to the septic. Derek even took the effort to double check from the opposite end in my house to make sure it was up to his standards. The whole time he is sharing knowledge and explaining the cause and effects and how the system is designed. When the job was finished, we went over the invoice. I couldnâ t believe the price! For emergency service, and the work that was done, the price was extremely fair. I highly recommend heritage plumbing and heating, and of course Derek."

"Prompt response to service request. Fixed a flourescent light fixture by replacing ballast--much less expensive than replacing the whole fixture. Pete was profession, efficient...will hire him again for future electric projects."

"Milltown plumbing contractor came on the scheduled date for fixing new faucets in kitchen and bathroom. They went above and beyond to replace any/all rotten pipes and joints such that they last for a very long time. They also closed an open gas outlet that could have been a safety hazard. They are also the designated plumbing company for our condo building and it helped for them to coordinate with condo staff for shutting off water supply during the repairs."

"Excellent and prompt service. I had a small leak in the freon tube of my central air unit which basically rendered it useless. The repairman arrived on time., and quickly went to work. He explained to me in plain english what the various problems could be and after spending a few hours diagnosing the problem, he found the leak somewhere in the unit itself. He quickly fixed it. He was definately an expert and quite knowledgeable in HVAC. A real pro. The price was very reasonable. I would use these guys again and would recommend them to others."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesHarvard Electricians are rated 0.0 out of 5 based on 0 reviews of 0 pros.
