CalCo was created by founding partners Andrew Taylor Sr and Paul Roberts. Our purpose is to help our clients turn their homes into the home of their dreams, one project at a time. "I hired Calco to replace my shower. On the final day of work, one of the installers collided with my car's front bumper in the company box truck. The sales manager, Matt, asked me to get an estimate for the repairs from a local body shop and send it to him. After sending him the estimate for repair, he ceased responding to my attempts to contact him. Several days later, I received a condescending and disrespectful phone call from one of the owners, Paul, who rudely informed me that they hadn't gotten back to me because "they were busy," demanded video evidence that the damage had been caused by a Calco employee, suggested that because I live in Lancaster City and park on the street that I should expect that my car will be damaged, and accused me of "threatening his business" when I stated my intention to leave honest reviews of my experience. "They truly live by the code of "you get what you paid for". The price was cheaper than expected (and they included a free estimate too). So ultimately, our slow bathtub drain was cleared. However, the technician had terrible housekeeping. After stripping the caulking around the overflow valve, they left the caulking pieces in the bathtub and told us to flush them down the drain (?!). They said the provided bio solution would clear the pieces just fine...but why do that when a trash can is less than a foot away?? Then, they did not offer to reseal the valve they just opened...just left a mess for us to pick up. As such, we will not be using them again next time...free estimate or not. If we wanted the bare minimum, we would have done it ourselves."
