"I went over the fence repairs with Alex Salazar, and he gave me a price for the work and materials of $500 cash. He arrived on time on Dec 14th and completed the repair, which took about 3 1/2 - 4 hours. I checked the work and complained that the gate he built was leaning. He came back on 12/18 and said that the fence post to which he had attached the gate was rotted at the bottom and would have to be replaced. I do not know why he did not notice this when he did the original repair?? Anyway, he said he will return tomorrow to replace the fence post to which the new gate is attached. This cost me an added fee, but he did show up on 12/24/21 and did the job, also installing a gate latch."

I accepted the estimate and the work began on the agreed upon day. When they showed up, they were ready to go! Wood had been pre-primed and they had all of the materials and equipment needed to do the job. No excuses of having to run back to the store or other unnecessary delays. "I DO NOT recommend Jeff at Ace Window and Screen repair. Don't waste your time and choose another company if you need your window screens redone or replaced. He does not follow through on agreements nor does he meet his own deadlines. He does not hold true to his word!! BACKGROUND: On 1 Nov 2019, we set up a date for him to come by and measure our windows and discuss replacing the screens, which he did not show up. I called and set up another date, he apologized and he showed up for that time, which was 5 Nov. We made a verbal agreement that I would hire him on 15 Nov, and he would be back out that weekend to remeasure and finalize the measurements. He didnt show up. I called him 21 Nov, he said he would be out before Thanksgiving and he didnt show up for that date either. I waited till the new year and called him 14 Jan 2020. Again I got the run around. Called him once again on 23 Jan. He said he was just right up the road and he would swing by that afternoon. Again, nothing. I called him for the last time, 11 Feb and got the run around again. Again, steer clear from this company and you would be better served going with another company. He always had an excuse, never met his own deadlines, and never lived up to his word. He stood in my house and raved his A+ BBB rating. Could have fooled me."
