"Lowry Construction was hired to plow an apt building parking lot. The plowing was never done promptly. Every time there was a snow storm I had to call, 8 hours later, and ask him to come to the lot and plow. His crew had no consideration for tenants, who just like them, have to get out to go to work. When the work was finally completed, it was done 8 hours later so by this time my tenants had had to shovel themselves out. Do not hire this guy. Would hate to hire him for a construction job."

This time he was able to correct a lousy job done with bathroom fan exhausts from a previous contractor. He highlighted everything wrong and corrected everything on the spot that day for excellent cost. Will definitely hire him again for any home maint. remodeling work."

"The company knew that I was going to pay them, yes I was approved by a finance company. I told the company that I had enough money to pay them directly. I got an alert from GreenSky that the company charge them. When I paid them by checks, I am seeking a lawyer and I'm going to sue them. Had to call Midtown and told them that their workers had put defective materials on my deck. Midtown was paid by GreenSky before the work was completed. Also, you can notice that there are ridges on the wood, as if a saw was used to put ridges in the wood."

"Things went from bad to worse. I replaced a few boards before the sanding and staining was to be done. The carpenter told me "a few of the boards are thicker than the existing". I told the carpenter "don't worry about that. The deck guys are going to sand it all down". This was my understanding from the start. I have evidence I communicated with DeckMedic my understanding that the deck would be sanded to get rid of the rough surface. Their ad calls it "sanding to remove the raised grain". I even mentioned he will most definitely need to hammer all nails before sanding. Otherwise he will tear up his sander. He agreed. The sanding was never done and many of the nails were never hammered down. I brought a third party service company in for their opinion. Their professional opinion "the deck was never sanded as the raised grain on the wood stands out and is very rough" Second issue: my deck stairs needed rebuilt then would need stained. Ryan and I came to an agreement. He would give me a $400 discount due to my dissatisfaction. He would send me a discounted invoice marked paid and would include a contractual promise to come back in the spring to stain new stairs. After I paid him, he said the invoice is in the mail. It never showed up. Now he still won't give me the invoice."

"I am happy to report that after my less than stellar review of Rush Construction, Chad made good on a promise to fix our deck. We are completely satisfied with the results. He came back and fixed the separation that had occurred on the deck boards himself. He also replaced the entire railing surface. We appreciate that he reached out to us and made good on work that needed to be done."

"We had a terrible, stressful experience with Sexton Home Improvement and Repairs, Inc. We terminated their employment because they did not follow building code when working on our home. We are relieved that another company working on our home caught the violation. It is upsetting that the financial integrity and safety of our home was jeopardized. They also constructed a very unlevel subfloor that had to be corrected. Rather than acknowledge or apologize for this error, excuses were made saying that the new subfloor ¨matched¨ the outer edges of the existing floor. A properly built floor will be level from one end all the way to the other, not just on the outside edges. This is a basic expectation of good workmanship. We were disappointed that even after showing the Sextons multiple pictures of the unlevel floor, the messy releveling process, and paid receipts, they still denied it was unlevel. Additional problems with this company included contradictory time frames for job completion. This created a lot of confusion for us about the job scope and estimate. Additionally, receipts for the ¨approximated materials allowance¨ were never submitted to us. This was troubling as the job was not completed, and we had to purchase the remaining materials to finish the job. These faulty jobs cost us: extra money, extra time to correct, added mess and inconvenience plus loss of trust in their company. Their lack of communication before termination (over a week) also added to this loss of trust. We have worked with numerous companies in the past, and this is the first negative review we have posted. We believe it is important to share our experience and reasons for not recommending this company."
