They were always so nice to work with, even suggesting things which was helpful. They never left a project until they thought it was perfect. We did a full kitchen remodel, even closing off a window to move a fridge and pantry to the other side to allow more cabinets and much needed counter space. They widen the entrance and the kitchen seems so much bigger. We think it’s Beautiful! They did laminated floors throughout the first floor, painted all walls and new baseboards. They created a wine bar which was just a cubby hole. They put in a pantry like cubby hole in our laundry room and added cabinets and above wall unit. One of the projects we had them add is new wooden stairs to the 2nd floor, white spindles and railing that curves instead of a wall and laminate floors on the 2nd floor. Other odd and ends that they never hesitated to do. We appreciate all they have done in our home, To us, it’s amazing how nice it is and how it should have been all the years we have lived here. "I spoke with 3 general contractors regarding the project and chose Jakubek. Dawid and his father were punctual, responsive with follow-up questions, and provided a reasonable quote. Even though I read their highly recommended reviews on Angi's website, I was still nervous about picking a contractor. However, now that the project is completed, I can honestly say Jakubek Inc- father, son, & team were amazing! They shifted cabinets in my kitchen island and installed a new granite countertop to make space for a new 36-inch range to replace my 30-inch range. In addition, they created a new vent plus electrical and installed a new hood. They removed the existing sink and cabinet in the powder room and installed a new cabinet, sink, countertop, and mirror. I moved my furniture out of the main level to have hardwood floors refinished and realized how badly the walls needed to be repainted. They were able to accommodate a last-minute request to paint interior walls and ceiling. Admittedly, the breakdown price for refinishing the hardwood floors was a few thousand more than other quotes, but I liked the continuity of having 1 contractor handle all details. Jakubek removed the quarter-round modeling, the floors were refinished (looked fantastic!) and then re-installed new quarter-round modeling. The team also installed tiles by the backdoor entrance because previously, it was hardwood, and the floor was so damaged by tracking in water/snow. Honestly, I could not ask for a better contractor - so nice, trustworthy, helpful, and felt very comfortable having the team in the house to do the work. I will definitely recommend their work and use them for any future projects."

They used wood screws to secure a shower door frame and failed to caulk any of the joints. They also left a ton of damage to my walls that I had to call them back to repair and repaint. To aid with entry to my building, I loaned them a set of spare keys, which they forgot to bring and had to return on a separate trip. After I submitted the final payment, I found that they neglected to secure the button sill of the shower door at all and it simply slid out of place. I sent Ron a message asking for a return of my payment and he has been silent. Amateur work, no attention to detail, carelessness. Don't hire these guys for your project, hire professionals"
