Gary Gilbert is a well-established third generation mason with over 30 years of experience in all types of stonework and specialize in fireplaces - available for residential or commercial projects on either new construction or on existing structures. Specializing in custom stone fireplaces and brick repair or restorations. When we do a repair on your homes fireplace you'll never know that one was needed. "Gary called me within minutes of posting project on site. Met with me the next day (end of June 2023) to go over project. Told me his per square foot rate, which I agreed to. Bragged about how sourced his stone locally and also told me that the stone was included in the quote. Gary said he was 3 weeks out. I agreed to everything. Said he would get me samples the following. Did not hear from him the following week. Called him. He seemed aggravated that I was calling him after he did not respond to my text or phone calls. Said he would call me the next day to tell me when he would show up to do job. Never called and did no hear from him again. Strung me along for a month and then ghosted me. Very unprofessional, rude and would not use him if he was the last mason on earth."

We carry our own exclusive brand of windows and siding called Unishield, and we have some of the best warranties in the industry. We are a preferred Owens Corning roofing installer. One of the key points that differentiates our window products from our competitors is that we use only virgin vinyl, built in one solid piece custom to each opening rather than standard sizes modified during installation. This creates a seamless fit that will not bend, crack, or warp over time. We also use the exclusive super spacer in between the panes of glass instead of metal, which is used by most window manufacturers. This amazing material almost completely diminishes any heat or cold transfer within the panes of glass, keeping you and your home comfortable and energy-efficient no matter the season!

We were having some trouble finalizing what color to go with, and Heather the office manager provided helpful assistance in the form of pictures, addresses we could drive by, and even had samples sent over so we could see them on our house. The installation crew impressed us – they worked some long days in high heat, were very polite and respectful of our house, and were surprisingly quiet. They took care of all the minor rot that was discovered in removing the old siding and boards, and for an area with extensive rotting quickly provided an estimate for additional required repair and executed it in one day. One thing that sets folks apart is how they handle issues. We needed to change to different size shutters after the initial order, and also with the new siding there were some unanticipated dimension changes due to how the house was constructed and the new layer of insulation below the siding; Universal helped us work through options and accommodated the changes we settled on seamlessly. We also discovered a few issues after the installation was complete, and everything was corrected without any dispute and to our full satisfaction. I give Universal Widows Direct 5 stars out of 5, and they will be first on my list to call when it comes time to do my roof."
