"Greg well gladly take your money in the form of a check right now to him or zell or cash, as he does not pay taxes on his business. He will occasionally throw in a check from time to time to keep the business running and make it look good, but in truth his employees are working under the table no taxes or social security paid, which makes him a non-tax paying, non social security paying, non-workman's comp employer. Any injuries done on the job you will have to go and take care of it yourself and he will not compensate you back if you're as employee. Currently he's hired a tech which I'm familiar with in the circle that is an alcoholic who just got fired from his previous job for driving the company truck at night and getting into an accident forcing that company to deal with the owner of the car he hit out of their insurance. So now you have an alcoholic non-licensed tech who's also non driver's license driving a vehicle around to do work for you how would you feel about that?"

I recommended them to my mom to take care of some ants around the perimeter of the house and some occasional roaches in the house. Unfortunately their communication was terrible and even after I complained the first time and asked to be called, they neglected to follow up with me twice. I had to chase them and ask for an additional service. However no proof was left that they actually provided a second treatment and now they claim that the pest issue at my mother’s home is “insurmountable”. Why was this not explained at first? They don’t return my calls and I’m not even sure they provided a 2nd treatment like they said they would, and I’m supposed to believe the “issue” is so big but they never informed me about it after their first visit? Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.
Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.
When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.
The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.
Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
