He was honest with feedback to our ideas, which was helpful because he got down to how we would use our spaces and what really mattered. He saved us so much money in the long run by changing our plans and spending a little more money? making a bigger patio, changing retaining wall dimensions and simplifying our designs. We spoke to a lot of contractors and Brien stood out! We hired Brien for another paver/walkway project after our backyard project. We would hire him again if he was still in Nashville! "

"Preferred Pavers has very poor communication and follow-up skills as it pertains to warranty repair work. This is an email I sent to them on May 20th with still no response. as of today May 27th. "Hello Bruce, Terri, I have tried over the last 2+ months to contact you to arrange for warranty repair work (fireplace repairs and re-sanding in certain areas) but no one has responded to any of my emails or voice mails that I have left/sent. "The company charged $4000 for a pop-up drainage system to prevent flooding in my stand-alone backyard office. When heavy rain came, it was apparent that the system in place was not working, and despite multiple emails, no one responded for six months. When they did, they sent workers out to do the same job that was already done. They also told me that the system in place would not work and should never have been placed and in the end, recommended I hire an irrigation company, stating that they are not an irrigation company and, when asked about a partial refund since the system placed did not work, they refused. In short, I cannot recommend this company. Poor work, poor customer service."

"A sinkhole developed in our front lawn overnight. I hired Ashton Bosley, of A-T Solutions, who held himself out to be an "expert" at sinkhole repair. The cost, including sod was $2525. which was in the same ballpark as other estimates I received. Ashton pounded sand into the hole, and one week later it fell in again, and was worse than it was originally. A STERN discussion was required for him to agree it was not fixed correctly, and that clay should have been filled into the hole. He did fix it again, but refused to replace the sod, which was dead at this point, because when the hole collapsed again, they had to rip the sod off to fix the hole. When I texted him about fixing the sod, which was included in his contract, he said I'd have to pay another $455.00 to have it replaced. I'm disappointed that we had to deal with the sinkhole for an additional two weeks, and disappointed that I'm going to have to spend several hundred dollars more to replace the sod."
