We love this industry because it allows us to have personal interaction with each of our customers, which is very important to us. We started this business after helping a family friend with their chimney back in the 1980’s. It was because of that job that we found our passion and CJW Chimney Sweeping & Restoration was formed. Each job we do is personalized because we know every job is different. We have met many great people over the years and it is our customers that keep us going. What sets us apart from our competition is our commitment to always doing the right thing and our quality of work is second to none. "Eric and Riley did a great job for a very fair price, diagnosing and fixing of several problems that popped up. For anyone worried about price gouging, they showed a lot of integrity by replacing parts at no extra cost when they easily could have gotten by keeping mismatched but functioning accessories. Also, it is not cost-effective to dig into the gas lines and the firebox just to sell an upgrade. Outside work such as installing a color-coordinated chimney cap might yield a profit. Chimney Sweeps are very busy. I recommend getting on the books early or doing an off-season inspection. My fireplace is up and running, but I plan to get a level 2 inspection to have more knowledge and peace of mind about the house. In hindsight, I should have gotten a nicer log set, but I wanted to keep costs down in case I had to spend more on repairs."

"Though the gutters were cleaned in December after the leaves had fallen, this spring of 2024 the gutters were over flowing!! I texted David regarding this issue he said they check the downspouts using a leaf blower. This spring I noticed no apparent debris from the downspouts being blown out. David said that my house is surrounded by trees and the downspouts are probably blocked again. This is 4 months later!! What would be blocking the gutters from draining. He said he'd come out but would have to charge me again, again for a service I paid for that wasn't completed properly in December. Would not recommend or use again."

"First visit was not great cut, bill twice contract. I called the company and complained, was told I would get two guys for half an hour, coming to the $65 target. Biweekly service was contrac -ted but the team came in one week, charged $94. Neighbor complained about clumps of grass tossed on her lawn by worker. I called and told the agent that I wanted to stop all services immediately due to overcharging and failure to follow agreed costs. i WAS TOLD i HAD TO PAY $60 FOR EACH REMAINING SERVICE, FOR A TOTAL OF $600! NO NUMBER OF SERVICES WAS EVER CONTRACTED, BUT SPEEDY CLEANS IMMEDIATELY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD THE $600."
