"Through Angi, I requested a quote to change the carpets on my 3rd level to hardwood floors. Kelvin responded quickly and gave me an estimate to change all of the hardwood from carpet and added some work to the kitchen floor. The day of the project he said I would need to pay more money to change all the floors to hardwood on the 3rd level and charged me $500 for the work even though it was already included in the work scope. He left the floors behind the stove and refrigerator in the kitchen a complete mess and didn’t inform me that holes were left in the floor. The floor looked ten times before the work that was done leaving me wondering about the qualifications of his staff because what professional would do that and purposely hid bad work behind the appliances."

Shipping actual flooring to me was curbside, I would have paid a bit more for the company to place in my driveway if given the option. I have been in the construction business for over 30 years. I believe in doing quality work. Your reputation and word is all you have in this business. I ran a drywall and paint company for 10 years, worked the last 20 years for various construction companies. The last 6 years out of town running work for a commercial construction company. Due to family issues I have to be home, so I am now doing work locally.

Travertine is a natural limestone cut into slabs and processed into tiles. In contrast, porcelain tiles are a form of ceramic made to mimic the look of natural stone. Travertine tiles last between 75 and 100 years when installed correctly and maintained with the proper care. By regularly cleaning with the right products and handling furniture moves carefully, you ensure the tiles retain their natural beauty and strength over time. Consistent maintenance, including proper sealing, keeps your travertine floors durable for decades.
To reseal travertine tile, start with a thorough steam cleaning of the tile and grout to remove dirt and debris. After cleaning, apply a high-quality sealant to protect the tile surface. Sealants cost between $30 and $40 per quart, and professional resealing services charge $1 to $2 per square foot, ensuring your tile remains protected and visually appealing.
