"This is the second time I have used Hennie. Ten years ago, Schoeman Construction replaced my bathroom, and it still looks new. The tile work is beautiful. After shopping around with various contractors to replace my kitchen, I decided to go with Schoeman Construction, because I knew it would be done to perfection and on schedule. Despite the interruption of two hurricanes, five days without power, and a change order I requested, Schoeman Construction was always moving forward when possible. The kitchen looks beautiful, and the cabinets are much more spacious than off-the-shelf cabinets and by far better quality. In addition, Hennie was able to save my quartz countertops which saved a lot of money. They are a nice family business you can trust."

"We needed 12 hurricane proof windows and sling patio door. Interviewed 4 companies, all were good but went with Yeti based on cost, quality, and that his windows were energy star certified. Sure glad we did. Installation, stucco repair, everything went very smoothly. Very professional crew. Great warranty too. It was a flawless and professional process beginning with the Design Consultant, Dave Cousineau, and ending with the installer, Matthew Ridgeway. When we visited their showroom, Dave was able to complete a design based on the measurements provided so when I left that day I had much more information than I expected on the initial consultation. It was also very helpful that Ambry has a showroom and factory right here in Largo and we were able to see all their products. Best of all , there was no-pressure to buy on the spot. We had an installation date within 2 weeks of the consultation. Matthew Ridgeway completed the installation in about 3 hours. He was ultra-polite, very professional and his work was stellar. We could not have had a more positive experience from beginning to end and the closet is more beautiful than I expected."

"Signed contract 11/12. Permitting request made; permit issued 1/30/2025. Drywall/insulation work begun almost immediately. Spoke on phone with GC just over 2 weeks ago to review time frame for rest of work. GC stated he planned to meet with me and walk through the following week. Stated painting would begin the following week (this would be the week of 2/10). Neither event happened. Also asked about floor tiling job, as I had outside company doing the job & wanted to let that person know when he could plan on the job starting. GC stated 2 weeks out; that would have been this past week. This didn't happen either. I texted GC 2/18 to ask if we could meet at house the next day. No reply. Called cell # 2/19 requesting call back to discuss lack of recent progress. Emailed 2/21 with same request, reminding him that I'm renting a place & am unable to stay indefinitely. Again asking about time frame on project. On 2/22, texted again, asking that he please call me. Each time I've attempted contact, I've asked him to please call me to discuss project & time line. He has not responded to me at all. This is the reason for my complaint. As of now, I feel left in the dark about whatever is happening or not. He is not communicating to me. I feel like he is avoiding contact. At present, I have no idea what his plans are schedule-wise for the project. It feels like my house project is in limbo right now. For more than a week, nothing has been done inside the house, with no explanation as to why. I think the GC has possibly over-extended himself, due to the magnitude of people needing assistance post-hurricanes and therefore may not have much spare time. But he needs to make sure his customers are being taken care of and communicated with."
