"Pros Initial work was satisfactory Cons -quality of work began to diminish -offered a quote(s) on other work where hardware was absurdly marked up/unreasonable -Adam would become argumentative and combative. Dont need a headache for pool service. Also what is with the contract? Let the quality of work , or in this case lack of, be your job security. Trying to lock people into a legally binding contract for pool service should have been the red flag I needed to choose a different company. Stand on the quality of work not locking people into a contract."

"Where do we start? I went through about 6-7 appointments / quotes for a couple of months with the major builders in the area. Same old story-- sales agent comes by, hear the pitch, sugar coats that it will be sub contractors working on the project, and then a wild range of quotes. Not a comforting process, especially for the major project (new deck/pergola) that we wanted. I had already gone through this process with other project bids and had mixed results, like everyone else. So when David came by and said only him and his sons would be building the deck--he had my attention. Suffice to say, our high expectations were exceeded. David and his sons took their time, were very detail oriented, always friendly/cordial/respectful. The build is very high quality, and the pictures speak for themselves. "I had a few projects done by Grandview deck and patio. First it was a patio and then two years later I did a covered addition to it. I was promised from Darrell that they were going to send somebody out and fix part of the patio that had concaved in. I was also promised to have somebody come out with concrete and fix the bottom of the concrete poles that were put in to my patio cover. Numerous calls were made and no one has ever gotten back to us. They basically took their money and ran."

"Mario, the technician, seemed very nice and knowledgeable The $49 quoted trip charge turned into a $220 diagnostic charge not including any service. He wasn’t sure why water was appearing on the floor, but felt it may be due to some clogging of a PVC drain tube. He said it was not possible to simply clean it out, but it should be replaced at a cost of another $250 (for a pipe?). We declined. We subsequently had another repairman come in who said there is no problem cleaning the tube and did so. The material clogging the pipe is shown in the photo."
