"Genuine Coatings, Inc. is a very comprehensive exterior house painter. On the job daily from 8:45am ~ 4p. Very polite hard working team family and friends. Much attention to detail and doing extra small painting details. Comfortable with this team every day walking around our home daily for a month and a week. They were very gracious and always asked if we liked their work. And we told them it is great. We reviewed their work by a walk around and I even got on a ladder to closely inspect the work. Mario is the owner and is very young owner and his foreman William and team members : Julio, expertise highly skilled carpenter, beautiful craftsmanship of fascia replacement and wood window frame detail repairs, Rodrigo, Kevin, Timmy and Gaspar were all so hard working."

"Reuben was very professional in his painting service. After a discussion of the particulars, he provided a contract at very competitive pricing with a mutually acceptable time frame for completion. The job was done to my complete satisfaction. I intend to hire his firm, Gallant Residential Painting, again for some additional interior work."

"I recently hired JD for an indoor painting project, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! From the very beginning, JD was professional, punctual, and incredibly detail-oriented. He took the time to carefully prep the space, ensuring that everything was protected and the job would be done right. His expertise was evident in the flawless finish he achieved on all the walls, trim, and ceilings. The paint colors I chose came out exactly as I envisioned, and the lines are sharp and clean. What stood out most was JD's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. He was respectful of my home, cleaned up thoroughly after each day, and made sure I was happy with every step of the process. His communication was excellent, keeping me updated on progress and timelines. The whole experience was stress-free, and the transformation of my space exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend JD to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable painter--his work truly speaks for itself!"

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
