We specialize in repairing residential and commercial foundations, concrete slabs, bowing/cracked basement walls, sinking floors, concrete porches, settling/cracked foundations, and other structural issues. We raise and level concrete pavements, driveways, and sidewalks. We also offer basement waterproofing. "Groundworks were contracted to encapsulate the crawl space, with a dehumidifier, intellijacks & sump pump. The inspector showed us pictures & videos of what the work would look like on completion, & explained how each solution would be installed. They tried to charge me more for vent covers until I showed them the contract covering this part. The foreman told me there was a reset button for the sump pump to be installed on an exterior wall, but they did not install it, instead said they would put in a service order. I haven’t heard anything about this issue yet. When they installed the moister barrier, they excluded the cement pads I was told it cost extra to have them covered. When I signed the contract, I was never told there would be extra charges for vent covers or cement pads to be covered. The contract I signed covered a complete encapsulation, but this is not what I got. This is a bait & switch. I would not recommend Groundworks."

"When I was getting bids for our paver project, one of the three bids I got was from Rios Brick Pavers. I asked Mauricio, the owner, why I should hire him. Without hesitation, he responded, “Because of the quality of our work.” He went on to say that his crew is great at what they do, and they have been with him for many years. He told me that there may be some competitors who will offer a lower price, but none will match his quality workmanship. Mauricio and his crew went on to deliver on his promise. We had walkways, a large gravel area, and a brick patio integrated into a beautiful and welcoming space that greatly enhances the usability and the look of our home. We could not be happier with the quality of the work and the finished look of the paver project. Mauricio was excellent on communicating status throughout the project. As there are with any project, there were a couple of unexpected challenges that he let me know about right away. The solutions he developed provided additional proof of the experience of his crew. We were going to get multiple bids but after talking with him, he was so nice, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced that we decided to go ahead on his removing the concrete. We then came up with the idea of using that concrete as a broken concrete entryway path and decided to have him do that as well when our backyard unit was finished. Couldn't have made a better choice. He's creative, conscientious, meticulous, notices things that we hadn't thought of and just a terrific person to work with. Our broken concrete entryway has different colored stones in between and it looks great, a wonderful entrance to the new house. Rodrigo also did a surface for a bike shed we're building and a walkway to and platform for a hot tub. We'd recommend him to anyone."
