"Howard gave us great advice in our initial meeting and a great price. Chris installed our system and did a neat job with the wires and spent the time necessary to set up the system correctly. The remote app works great and allows us to monitor our home when we are away."

"Tony is a top-notch professional. Realized this when he came into our home with shoe covers...seems minor, but the fact that he was mindful of keeping our home clean to that extent showed what a person/perfectionist he is. Took his time to explain each and every detail. Prices were best of all quotes I got. Absolutely no complaints, and I highly recommend."

"Look no further. Matt is one of the best when it comes to A/V installation. He mounted 3 TVs and set up another in my home. He also set up the streaming service on each TV and made sure I had appropriate WiFi coverage throughout the property. In addition to being a professional, Matt is a down to earth individual who truly cares about his customers. While setting up the last TV, he noticed that one of my windows was slightly open. He closed it and then checked the remaining windows. And sure enough, a few were open. This is the type of service you are getting. Excellence!!!"

"Great. It was a tricky project involving the replacement of routers and installation of access points inside and outside. Howard and his crew are great. They are amazingly patient and have returned on their own a few times to test things out. Ours is a second home and Howard has become a trusted friend. We have no current choice but to use Optimum for Internet, and they are very difficult to work with especially their substandard equipment. Howard continues to support us as we work through some access point issues. Thanks Howard! All the best to you always."

"

Raymond came and asked what my issues were with the computer, listened to all my complaints. I explained about needing one virus software for work (encryption) and one for my computer's needs. He began by checking all the usual sites of issues, ran a virus scan product or two and determined that my issues were not viral related (yeah) but mostly overloaded with add-ons from several companies/sites.

Those got cleared out/removed, he made my home page much more user friendly for me, and explained tons of questions that I had about 'why this, why that, how this, etc.'  He made sure that at start-up, the computer wasn't bogged down, and by then there was already a big improvement. He changed my search engine from one that had been installed when I bought it but didn't know enough to change it.  I now know how to use either of the browser options.

He found documents that I knew were "in the cloud storage' but couldn't find (yes, I know, I'm one of those who wonders which cloud my stuff is in).  Raymond also set up my external hard drive so I could have yet another document storage location (to be really safe--especially since I still don't trust that cloud).

So now, instead of a computer that froze every few minutes I have a computer that is working well and I can concentrate on typing my end-of-term paper and not worrying that the computer will shut down.

Raymond was here about 90-105 minutes and the fee was very reasonable-- money well spent for what I got in return.

FAQs for home theater system or media center installation projects in Jackson, NJ

For those on a budget, a home theater system can be installed for as little as $5,000. This simple setup, which doesn’t require professional installation, includes essential components that provide reliable visual and audio performance. It's a budget-friendly way to enjoy movies, TV shows, and live events from the comfort of your home.

Plan to spend at least $70,000 for a high-end home theater. At this price point, you’re paying for advanced components, including flagship projectors, reference-grade speakers, dedicated subwoofers, robust A/V receivers, and professional installation. These features deliver outstanding picture quality, rich surround sound, and a polished finish. Costs climb quickly when you add custom seating, acoustic treatments, and smart-home integration, so ask your installer for a detailed estimate before committing.

The ideal screen size for optimal home theater viewing ranges between 100 and 120 inches. A well-proportioned home theater room measures 24 feet by 15 feet, with a minimum ceiling height of nine feet. However, smaller spaces, such as 15 feet by 20 feet or 10 feet by 12 feet, can also work well. These dimensions enhance acoustics and visual performance, creating an immersive entertainment environment.

A well-built home theater room should last as long as the house, but the electronics inside need periodic attention. Plan to review your equipment every four to five years to see whether new formats, connection standards, or performance upgrades justify a change. Upgrading outdated projectors, receivers, or streaming devices keeps the system running efficiently and prevents compatibility issues, all while protecting the investment you’ve already made in the space.
