"Woke up this morning to my hvac leaking and contacted Markool. I have never used them before and was in a pinch. They fit me right in this morning and were out at my house within 2 hours. The tech stepped in the door and placed covers for his shoes so he did not track in any dirt which was impressive! The tech was very professional and super friendly. Problem was diagnosed and FIXED within an hour. The price was extremely reasonable to the point I was shocked in a good way (expecting a higher price). "Basement Project We absolutely love our new basement! I was very nervous when selecting the contractor for this job. I interviewed three contractors for the job, all seem very decent, but what set Best Home apart was Jeff Segovia. He designed the whole layout of our basement (we love it) and oversaw the entire project from beginning to end. The construction crews were very polite and friendly. Best Home did an excellent job and very flexible with many changes I had and they completed the job on time (took 3 months and exactly 1 week)which was amazing. I am actually hiring them again for additional projects. I highly recommend Best Homes!"

"Tri State was prompt—they had a tech out within hours when our 20-year-old HVAC broke down. The repair estimate was $800–$1,200, and they also sent a salesman, Mike, to discuss replacement. Mike was courteous and knowledgeable, but, when we sat down to review the quote, the sales process turned into a bad car-buying experience. They started at $34,000, then "discounted" to $29,300—$10,000 -$12,000 higher than other quotes for the exact same unit. Even factoring in their warranty, they remained $8,000–$10,000 overpriced. Mike also claimed they were a four-generation family-owned business, but I later found out they’re owned by Sila Services, a Goldman Sachs private equity firm—which feels misleading. To their credit, canceling was easy (though I hadn’t signed a financing agreement or put money down). Bottom line: Get multiple quotes. Their pricing was excessive, and the sales tactics felt manipulative."

"STAY AWAY!!!! This Company cancelled the initial estimate on me 3 times making me drive 90 minutes to the property each time. They finally showed and gave me the typical hard sell "if you sign the contract today..." They gave us a quote so far over market value we should have walked away. But we agreed because of the "70 year history in the industry" We thought we were buying a service from a company with integrity. They took an immediate $18K deposit on a $55K project. I know, shame on me for agreeing to such an amount. We knew we were over spending, but... One month later, they simply cancelled the contract without explanation and without any work on the project. This contract was binding on us but, in their words, was not binding on them because "there's a clause in the fine print that allows them to cancel" THEY STILL HAVE OUR MONEY and I STILL NEED A ROOF Stay away from this company. No integrity No responsibility Unreliable Over priced Will take your money and keep it"

"Outstanding contractor to work with. Lots of experience & great crew. Really take pride in their work and do not cut corners. Very trustworthy. Also great communication throughout the entire project. For our project they completed a little bit of everything. Opened up masonry doorways and installed new headers. Wood framing. Drywall. Insulating. Drywall finishing. Flooring. Trim work. Stair railing work. We did not have one part of our project that we were not completely satisfied with."
