"Beware! Dishonest and Unreliable Pool Repair Contractor! If I could give zero stars, I would. I hired this company in early January 2025, paying a large deposit to them on January 6th, with the promise that my pool and deck repair would be completed by mid-February. Not only did they fail to show up, but they also went completely silent for nearly the entire month of February. No updates, no communication?nothing. Then, on February 26th, out of the blue, they finally reached out?not to apologize or offer an explanation, but to try to start two days later on Friday February 28th, but only if I paid them more money before they would begin the job! It seemed to me like a desperate last-minute money grab attempt. To make matters worse, they tried to tack on an additional credit card fee even though their salesperson had assured me this fee would be waived upon request when I signed the proposal. At this point, I was already suspicious, but things got even worse when I did some digging."

They didn't include things in the price that should have been included, and came back to nickel and dime afterwards. The submitted a new invoice almost a year later and threatened to put a lien on the house when I pushed back. They are terrible and I will tell everyone I can that."

"They began in January 2018 I received a bill before they even came to the house which I paid the gentleman by the name of Trevor or let me correct myself the teenager they came to clean the pool I paid him and gave him the statement he laughed and said wow you got a statement before I even started I did not go well he claimed that my pool motor in drive was broken I get a call from the office telling me that it’s $1500 of course I get two more opinions there was nothing wrong except that he turned off my pool pump all they did was come and reset it so obviously this was done maybe because his truck broke down in front of my house and maybe by charging me for a new pool pump and motor in drive he would actually be paying for the truck that was broken down also about a month after being hired in January the same month he bought some woman some young lady to help him what he needed help to do I don’t know all I know is I have them on my video footage Through my ATT accidentally breaking my pool lanai door but then they won’t even let the office know that just let you know what kind of character they are when I call the owners and told them they told me they would repair it and their story about him bringing someone else on the property and that the father would call me to repair it no one ever called no one ever repaired it and I just got a bill for them which I just called him and told him I was gonna pay because you prepay so what would I prepay if I called him and told him I don’t want their service and I’m not gonna be using them for the month of February why would I pay for these people are scammers unprofessionalAnd unreliable they’re supposed to come and one set time one day in the week they come whatever they want they show up or they don’t show up and if they do show up they come with friends not professional"

A pool liner can last anywhere from 15 to 20 years, depending on your pool’s chemistry. If you keep your water balanced, your liner will last longer than if you don’t. For example, over-chlorination, too much sanitizer, and heavy metal buildup can contribute to a shorter lifespan.
It’s always best to start fresh rather than put a new pool liner over the old one. You will need to redo or re-groom the bottom of the pool base before installation anyway, so many homeowners choose to get rid of the old one and start anew.
If you’re simply dealing with a small tear or leak, it’s completely feasible to patch the old pool liner rather than replace it. However, if there’s major damage, patching will be a waste of time and money, and you’ll be better off replacing the entire liner.
