"Our house was pre-wired for a security system when built 10 years ago, but the security sensors, keypads, panel, alarms and smoke detectors were not installed at that time. Chris and Brian installed a home security kit that included linked smoke detectors in a day. One existing door sensor had a short in the wiring installed originally installed 10 years ago. With my approval, Chris used a wireless sensor for this door since fixing or replacing the hard-wired sensor access was not possible due to access limitations. Some of the old original wiring required a good deal of time to get sensors working properly and Chris and Brian stuck with it until the job was completely finished. After multiple trips into the attic and crawl space to string wire for new linked smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector everything was up and running and we had a complete fully operational perimeter security system. Chris then showed us how easy it was to use the keypad to arm and disarm the system."
