"This job turned ugly right at the beginning when we found that the floor under the carpet was not feasible for installing tile. Dave and his son Luke (who did most of the actual work) persevered, expanded the job to include removing the old flooring, and did an excellent job. I love my new tile floor, the workmanship is top notch, and they were very easy to work with. It is solid, stable, quiet and very professionally done. You will not do better on the Big Island than Dave and Luke."

"Leon and Nathan did an incredible job! They helped dislodge a piece of wood that got in the toilet outflow pipes after a renovation. They were courteous, professional, honest and tried everything to avoid having to cut open our brand new tiled floors. Highly recommend them!!"

Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
