Fast turn around on this project and pleasant to work with. The second project was a drop ceiling in our basement. It is a large area and the tiles and lights add so much to the appearance. "Absolutely avoid Pioneer Home Services at all costs!!!!!!!!!! I had the misfortune of dealing with them when our A/C went out, and I chose them based on their seemingly great Google reviews. However, my experience was a nightmare. Their technician, Michael Miller, tried charging me a ridiculous $1100 for a simple capacitor and contactor switch. That only amounted to $40 online and 15 minutes of work. He actually tried to claim the parts alone were worth $800, which was beyond ridiculous. When I tried to verify the parts cost myself, Michael seemed hesitant and evasive about the quote, which immediately raised red flags. Later on, he quoted me $392 for the same job, which just added insult to injury. Save yourself the headache and find another HVAC company that actually values its customers. Pioneer Home Services, especially the technician Michael Miller, are the poster children for why people shouldn't rely solely on Google reviews to judge a company's credibility. AGAIN, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!"
