"Juanchi’s R Concrete was just one of six contractors that bid on the job. Juanchi’s price was very competitive with the others, but they were the only company that provided a detailed description of the job at a solid price. They showed up on time and had everything they needed. They cleared a lot of bushes and debris, prepped the area, and poured the driveway. The new drive was poured next to the old, and it matches the existing driveway in color, texture, and looks. My neighbor, a retired cement contractor from Virginia, said their float man was amazing and that I got an excellent price for the job. I fully agree. What impressed me outside of the quality of their work was that when it was time to pay, they did not inflate the price!! And their cleanup was fast and very well done. This fall, I will be adding another driveway and an extension. I will only call one company as their quality and integrity are prodigious. The owner has pride in his work and honor in his words. Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
