"Brady came out to discuss what would be done and was very thorough. Sounded good so we signed up for both rodent and bug/insect service. Sergio the came out for the rodent problem. We were dismayed that he didn't find dead rodents on his second visit. Said he couldn't get around much under the hose because of the pipes. (Note: we had a plumber out in the past make his way under the house and he was quite a large man). Rebuilding the crawl space door looks like it was made in school shop class. Sergio was a very nice guy and he probably did the best job he could. Phillip came out for the bug/insect job. Looked to be doing a thorough job. He was a very nice guy. "

"I hired All Natural Pest Elimination 5 years ago, give or take. I purchased a home in Oregon that had powder boring beetles, and needed them removed. I also purchased flea and other insect protection. I have just learned (and will admit to not reading fine print) that my animals, who have always run freely in my home during services, were supposed to be confined whenever a service was performed. According to the customer service manager, "the technician's notes indicate they told me I needed to confine my pets." That never happened. So, for approximately 4 years I received service that was either not completed, or the techs did complete the service but lied about having advised me regarding my pets. Even all of this would have been ok if the customer service manager ever indicated they may have screwed up. It happens. But to tell me I must be wrong because the technician's notes say they did something is making some very large assumptions about the veracity of the techs and the customer's ability to tell the truth."

Three Rivers Mosquito and Vector Control is more than a pest control company that offers mosquito control services. We specialize and are experts in mosquito control. TRMVC is a Central Oregon based business and provides services ranging from feasibility studies and reports for the establishment of vector control programs to evaluations and recommendations for existing programs. We provide training, support and materials for in-house programs as well as providing tailored, full-service control programs. Our Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs provide you one-stop, full-service management that maximizes your control over mosquitoes and other flying nuisances. Our professional staff develops and tailors programs based on your specific habitats, environmental sensitivities, and budget. Because TRMVC offers the widest variety of application methods, and utilizes the most innovative technologies to assess and monitor each program, we can achieve the right balance of efficacy with environmental responsibility. Plus we offer the industry's fastest scheduling and response time. No other company can service your needs better. TRMVC uses nationally accepted methods to control mosquito populations, including surveillance, source reduction, and the application of EPA-approved larvicides and adulticides for enhanced quality of life in any municipality. TRMVC bases its programs on sound science; routine inspections of treatment areas coupled with collections from surveillance traps enable us to determine the presence of West Nile Virus or other mosquito borne diseases, which mosquito species are present, their approximate population density, type of breeding habitats, and locations. TRMVC employs an IPM approach to scientifically and systematically design customized control programs for each municipality. Every program we design incorporates a combination of computer models, GIS mapping, weather monitoring, and least toxic and most effective biological and chemical controls. TRMVC combines this data with timely reporting to facilitate informed program decisions and critical public education assistance. Three Rivers Mosquito and Vector Control and the American Mosquito Control Association advocates management of mosquito populations when and where necessary by means of integrated programs designed to benefit or to have minimal adverse effects on people, wildlife, and the environment. This integrated pest management (IPM) policy recognizes that mosquito populations cannot always be eliminated but often must be suppressed to tolerable levels for the well-being of humans, domestic animals, and wild life and that selection of scientifically sound suppression methods must be based on consideration of what is ecologically and economically in the long-term best interest of mankind. The following principles are advocated: •Mosquito control measures should be undertaken only when there is adequate justification based upon surveillance data. •IPM programs should be tailored to the needs and requirements of the local situation. The combination of methods for mosquito control should be chosen after careful consideration of the efficacy, ecological effects, and costs versus benefits of the various options, including public education, legal action, natural and biological control, elimination of breeding sources, and insecticide applications. •Mosquito breeding sources, whether natural or created by human activity should be altered in such a manner as to cause the least undesirable impact on the environment. •Insecticides and application methods should be used in the most efficient and least hazardous manner, in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and available scientific data. The registered label requirements for insecticide should be followed. When choices are available among effective insecticides, those offering the least hazard to non-target organisms should be used. "Called about a major ant problem. Every time we chased them out of one part of the house they came in two other places. Kevin came out right away. Did an inspection. When to work immediately. Two days later, no more ants. The cost was much less than expected and he committed to come back if there were any issues. Totally recommend this company."

Termite treatment for your home will last one to two years. After this period, termiticides stop being effective, and you will need another treatment to prevent another infestation. Exterminators often recommend signing up for an ongoing treatment plan during the initial treatment. However, it is prudent to wait a few months to ensure the initial treatment was effective before committing to future plans. If your home is prone to termites, a termite bond is a good way to save money on repeated treatments.
Drilling into the concrete foundation around your home is not always necessary for termite treatment. While drilling can be highly effective in exterminating subterranean termite colonies, there are alternative methods that work well for termite control. Drilling is safer than applying ground-level chemicals, which can be hazardous for children and pets, but a thorough termite treatment plan can be achieved without drilling. Consult with a termite professional to determine the best treatment method for your situation.
While DIY termite treatments may address very minor infestations, they often lack the effectiveness of professional services. It's recommended to obtain a professional termite inspection to assess the infestation's extent before attempting any DIY methods.
The optimal termite treatment depends on the termite type, infestation size, and budget. Liquid termiticide applied to soil is a common and effective method. Bait stations are also effective in certain situations. For severe infestations, gas fumigation or heat treatment may be the most effective options.
