"After the gas company refused to turn on our gas due to leak, I searched for gas leak service through Angies. First Class plumbing called and I asked them to perform a test to find out the source of the leak. I agreed to pay them $360 for this service which would be applied to the repair cost should I have decided to choose them for repair. The did a pressure test, confirmed the leak. However, they guessed where the leak was. They said the leak is somewhere underground between the gas meter and where the gas pipe enters teh house (~28 feet). They told me replacing that under-concrete pipe would cost me $9000 and if I do the post repair concrete patch, it would cost $7,000. I asked them to change the whole gas pipe in the yard (b/c it was old), they said $15,000 if I do the post-repair concrete path myself. Based on their statement I signed a contract for $15,000 to replace the whole gas piping in the backyard. Before they were going to show up next day, I asked them to delay the start of the work until Monday (3 days delay). I asked another gas company to do the diagnosis. The leak wasn't in the part of the gas pipe that was going from meter to the place the pipe enters the house. He isolated the segment that was causing the leak, then the leak was gone. I can send you the diagnosis from both companies. I would like First Class piping to pay me my $360 b/c their diagnosis was erroneous. Not only would I have paid the $7000 without having fixed the leak, but I would have damaged the concrete in the yard as well. In their diagnosis, First Class is saying there are Ts under the ground etc. which is absolutely to the case. He would have seen there were no Ts had he used his borescope camera as I asked him to do. I am asking them to pay me back my $360 which is the least they should do."

"The only suggestion I have is that they could do a better job doing after clean up. Need to invest in a portable vacuum cleaner. Work is excellent though. Miguel is an excellent plumber and Luis also did a good job! Both were very professional."

"I need to share my experience with Clear All Rooter. I called them a few weeks ago to replace my 14 yr old water heater. I told them I wanted to use a water heater by Bradford and White. He quoted my $2800.00 for a 50 gallon water. I did not do my due diligence and just said go ahead and replace it. I was kind of stressed at the time. Only later did I realize that the heater cost $1020.00 and I ended up paying $1800.00 for installation which I consider a massive rip off. It is all my fault for not asking upfront about product cost and labor. Dont make the same mistake. I ended up making a home improvement loan to pay it off over the next two years. They did a great job of installation but I dont think it was worth $1800.00. I am a veteran who lives a modest lifestyle and I dont appreciate this type of treatment. "Andres did a great job replacing approx 40 LF of my main water line between the utility water meter to the shut of valve by the front door Andre’s was showed up at 7am and worked until 4:30pm as he committed to be done in one day. Pricing was competitive and the quality of work very good. After completing the task at hand, he cleaned up the walkway path, flower bed and patch back the grass that he’d to be removed.
