"I had Biango Construction complete a full gut renovation of my main floor powder room and laundry room/mudroom. This included a major change in layouts and moving walls, doors, HVAC, plumbing, gas lines, and electrical. I also had custom cabinets and hall tree built for the space. The final result is exceptional (see photos). While the time ended up taking longer than originally expected, it was worth it to have a trusted pro do the work and to deal with the permit process. The company was easy to work with, professional, and maintained a clean workspace across my house. All individuals working on my house with Nick Biango paid high attention to detail throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Biango Construction to anyone doing renovations or wanting built-ins added to their home."

"Tom Burrell recently remodeled our deck, and the results exceeded our expectations. He tore out the old deck, re-leveled the beams, replaced the joists, and installed six 6x6 cedar posts. He used TimberTech composite decking with invisible fasteners for a seamless look, adding a complementary border and middle divider for extra style. He rebuilt the stairs, installed deck lighting along the border, posts, and steps, and added stunning cedar cross-members that perfectly blend modern and rustic design. Tom’s attention to detail is unmatched. He maintained an immaculate worksite, cleaning up daily, and clearly takes pride in his craft. He thoughtfully designed the deck and executed every element with care and precision. Tom is also a veteran and a genuinely kind person. His professionalism, craftsmanship, and work ethic are top-notch. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend him to anyone looking for high-quality deck work!"

"We had a terrible, stressful experience with Sexton Home Improvement and Repairs, Inc. We terminated their employment because they did not follow building code when working on our home. We are relieved that another company working on our home caught the violation. It is upsetting that the financial integrity and safety of our home was jeopardized. They also constructed a very unlevel subfloor that had to be corrected. Rather than acknowledge or apologize for this error, excuses were made saying that the new subfloor ¨matched¨ the outer edges of the existing floor. A properly built floor will be level from one end all the way to the other, not just on the outside edges. This is a basic expectation of good workmanship. We were disappointed that even after showing the Sextons multiple pictures of the unlevel floor, the messy releveling process, and paid receipts, they still denied it was unlevel. Additional problems with this company included contradictory time frames for job completion. This created a lot of confusion for us about the job scope and estimate. Additionally, receipts for the ¨approximated materials allowance¨ were never submitted to us. This was troubling as the job was not completed, and we had to purchase the remaining materials to finish the job. These faulty jobs cost us: extra money, extra time to correct, added mess and inconvenience plus loss of trust in their company. Their lack of communication before termination (over a week) also added to this loss of trust. We have worked with numerous companies in the past, and this is the first negative review we have posted. We believe it is important to share our experience and reasons for not recommending this company."

"If I could give Nate, Shawn, Keith, and the rest of the Deck Company team 10 stars, I would! I highly recommend them! Our project was particularly complex because it was a very large 34”x 34 1/2” Trex deck completely surrounding a semi inground oval pool with extended pool stairs. There were many challenges along the way because of the pool, including strict safety requirements for the railing height and gates, as well as a ring of concrete around the base of the pool that had to be jackhammered through for a couple of the post holes! Nate was so positive the entire time. Every time an obstacle came up, while I was panicking, he would just smile and say “I’ve got this!”. In the end the deck was finished ahead of schedule and passed all village inspections (including the pool safety requirements) on the first try. The end result exceeded our expectations, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The attention to detail is amazing. Things like the trimming out of the lattice, the angle cuts on the deck railing, and the perfect coping of the decking around the pool and pool stairs really make it look fantastic. The whole team was courteous, and professional the entire time. Nate and Shawn were always happy to answer my questions (and I had a lot of them). They left our yard better than they found it, power washing our sidewalk and driveway to clear away mud that was mostly left from the pool install. We definitely choose the right company for the job!"

"This place has terrible customer service and doesn't care about small pool purchases (they only prioritize big projects). As of May 14, 2020, I paid (down payment) for a 16' pool from Russo's Pools. I was told my pool would be installed in July 2020. The installer was to go out to look at the site within 1 week. They never did. I called and got no one, only leaving a message or the phone just ringing. This was all last summer 2020 with no communication. I contacted Russo's pool in March 2021 and was told they didn't have my pool nor had any idea what happened. They have given me the run-around since. I was told the installer would call me, and week after week, they did not. Not until I asked to speak to the owner that the installer called me, stating he had JUST gotten my number. The owner discussed them obtaining and installing an 18' pool to make things right. Anthony Russo is now stating he never said that; he says he only said he would look into it. All discussions about pool and site were about 18'. Even the assistant I have been talking to this week has been checking deliveries for the 18' pool and working on getting one. Anthony Russo says he can't do that, and I am here 334 days later and NO pool."
