"After having gone through four contractors who made big promises of written estimates which never materialized, my expectations of this company were pretty low. But when I reached out to Misha's Home Improvement I received a prompt and courteous reply. We made an appointment to meet at my house. Misha arrived at the appointed time (to which I arrived late) he walked up to meet me, holding a clipboard and measuring tape in hand. We shook hands and I realized right away that I was dealing with someone of a higher caliber. When we walked through the house I stated my requirements only partially whereupon Misha offered ideas and options. Every room. Methodically. Misha took measurements and we parted company. Misha and the guys have completed the job and I have to say that I will truly miss them. True craftsmen. I will absolutely recommend this company of men and the man who runs this enterprise. We doubled the size of our house including tripling the size of the kitchen, knocking out walls to create an open floor plan and added a three car garage with home office over the garage. "We have used The North Star Companies for several jobs in the past, with the most recent being the largest. We hired them do a complete renovation of our home in Severn. The job grew larger as demo began and turned into a job requiring the rebuild of exterior walls, demo of concrete slabs - basically the house had to be rebuilt from the ground up. All new plumbing, electric, framing, windows, siding, roof, etc. I have known Chris for 20+ years and was confident that our forever home would be solid and done right.
