Thank you for your interest in Fence Bros! Here at Fence Bros we take pride in our work. Our team works hard to satisfy every customer with a beautiful fence. We specialize in every type of fencing residential and commercial. We guarantee our work. We offer free quotes at anytime!

"Everything was fine in the beginning with Logan. He provided us quotes for deck replacement (boards and railings) for $16,000+ and vinyl private fencing for $11,000. We found someone who offered a better warranty on the composite decking for a cheaper price, so we went elsewhere for this thankfully. Our yard was already partially enclosed due to our neighbors having fencing, so we only needed roughly 208 ft of fencing to finish off enclosing the yard. There were a few red flags with Logan that should have been obvious signs to go with another contractor. After our initial quote for both deck and fence, he returned 30 days later to do measurements AGAIN on the deck and showed up alone this time instead of with his buddy. He claimed he "couldn't get ahold of his partner anymore" and had to find someone else. We were quoted a 2 day turnaround time for the fence. When installing the fence, he ran into issues we addressed many times in our consultations which were slopes/hills in our yard. We have dogs so our primary reason for wanting the fence was to keep them enclosed. The first problem area he ran into he contacted us about. We approved the gap between the ground and bottom of the fence in this spot due to the nature of the uneven ground. Our expectation moving forward with the rest of the fence per our conversations was that the rest of the fence was to be installed close to the ground and flush on top and flush with the ground. He agreed many, many times this would be the outcome. We came home to 3 more additional panels that he never consulted us about that had over a 9 inch gap from the ground to the bottom of the fence. These were already concreted in. His recommendation was to place flowers in this gap as if that would prevent my dog from crawling underneath if they desired. It was clear it was just laziness, because if they dug deep enough the fence could have been placed lower to the ground with a few minor adjustments to the actual panels and it would have been fine. After seeing the additional gaps left that we did not approve, we asked him to redo those specific panels to our expectations. He refused. They started work on Thursday (not really because they 'forgot all of their needed tools') and the fence installation didn't begin until Friday. By 6pm Friday they completed majority of the fencing, but had to return Monday because he didn't calculate the material correctly so they were short. So much for a 2 day turn around time. This was even more infuriating after finding this out along with seeing the additional gaps that were left. To save time out of our own busy lives, we decided to not take him to court (although we should have) and had him finish the rest of the fence on Tuesday and paid him off because at this point we just wanted it done. As a business owner myself, the customer service was AWFUL. The communication got worse as the days went on and again, many many red flags. If I could go back and choose someone else to complete this work, I would 100% rightfully so. We had to spend more $$ out of pocket to fix the gaps after paying 11 grand. 10000% DO NOT recommend Logan and whatever buddy he chooses is available at that time to complete work with. Very inexperienced business owner and hope others can avoid this mistake as well."

JLM HOME SOLUTIONS is a full service design/build licensed and insured residential general contractor with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship, fair pricing, communication, and customer service. Specializing in all facets of residential construction to include, but not limited to, new homes, additions, full renovations, exterior spaces, kitchens, bathrooms, garages, pole buildings, decks, siding, windows and doors, historical renovations, flooring, tile, roofing, structural renovations, basement finishes, and etc. JLM HOME SOLUTIONS offers more than just a construction service, we offer our clients an experience. From design, proposal, signed contract, construction, and finally to completion JLM makes the process an enjoyable stress free experience. Strict quality craftsmanship and a focus on all of the details, whether large or small sets us apart from all the rest. All of our sub-contractors have the same pride in their workman ship and know that quality is demanded by JLM. My team of contractors are professional, trustworthy, honest, dependable, loyal, and most of all hard working and the best in the business. JLM offers constant communication and at no point in the process do our clients feel as though they are not part of the total process from design to completion. Communication is of the utmost importance at JLM and pride ourselves with being available 24-7. JLM offers over 25 years of experience and knowledge in the industry and have earned a long list of extremely satisfied repeat clientel that are willing to be a reference and offer their homes as a tour. The company is owner-operated, and owner is hands on for the entire construction process as well as being the project manager. As an owner, project manager, master carpenter, and business management degree holder, I have a vast knowledge that has been gained through the years on how to successfully own and manage a residential construction company.

"I hired JLM Home Solutions to install all my interior doors and closets including frames/casings in my upstairs. Jason was a horrible person the entire time I hired him. He acted like a nice person just to get hired. I regret hiring him. Unfortunately I had signed a contract by the time I found out he was no good. Every time I brought up something that was not done right, he’d yell and raise his voice at me. He’s very rude and unprofessional with the worst customer service. He was rude on text, rude on phone and rude in person. Jared, I guess one of his employees was a great person, very polite and did an amazing job. He worked on the project in a professional manner. He didn’t come back though to finish the project because Jason sent another person instead, David, who did an awful job. Jason didn’t want to hear it that David’s work was not the greatest. I had to put a stop payment after I found out one of the closet doors wasn’t installed right and other things that were wrong. Jason got so upset that he had to come back to fix the problem after I told him I didn’t want David. Jason came to my house but failed to fix the problem still. Instead he made me feel threatened in my own house. He was all in my face yelling at me saying nothing was wrong with the closet. Even my little dog was scared. I had to call my daughter and son to come over because I was so terrified that he was maybe going to hurt me. I stayed on the phone all the time while he was there so someone could hear his abusive behavior. That day after Jason left, I had to get a second opinion on the closet. Another contractor couldn’t believe the way the closet was installed and for Jason to insist it was okay. He left the old frame on and didn’t want to here when I mentioned it. I’ll have this closet removed and a new one with new frame installed the right way. I had to insist Jason deduct some money for that closet from the balance owed to him. A couple of days later, I noticed my kitchen door they installed still had cracks on the inside frame close to the lock. I had mentioned that to him. I texted him to let him know with pictures showing the cracks. Now Jason won’t respond to my text, email or phone. I asked him to send one of his guys to fix the door. Not him because I don’t want him around me. I’ve tried everything to get to him. I know he’s ignoring me. I paid him so much money for this project. If I don’t hear from him I’ll have no choice but to file small claims. He cannot leave my door like that after I paid him so much money and thinks he can just get away with it. If there was an option of zero stars, that’s what I’d have given JLM."

Disability ramps building services FAQs

The time frame for installing a wheelchair ramp depends on the ramp’s design complexity, the number of modifications required, permit processing times, and labor efforts. A contractor can install a prefabricated model in as little as a few hours, while custom-built designs can take multiple days.

The cost to repair a wheelchair ramp is between $625 and $2,200, depending on the ramp type and the severity of the damage. Portable ramps are often the least expensive to repair, while custom wooden and aluminum models are the most costly.

Many private insurance companies cover wheelchair ramps when the equipment is essential for home accessibility improvements. It is important to consult your insurance provider to confirm specific benefit details and any necessary prerequisites. In cases where your private insurer does not offer coverage, government assistance programs may provide the financial support required for installing the ramp.

Wheelchair ramps must meet ADA guidelines that specify criteria for slope, landing dimensions, length, and handrail construction. Although homeowners are not legally mandated to follow these standards, meeting them greatly enhances safety and functionality. Ensure your ramp maintains the maximum slope ratio of one inch per foot and includes secure, appropriately sized landings and handrails for optimal access.

Wheelchair ramps are not the sole answer to home accessibility needs. Stairlifts and platform lifts offer viable alternatives, with stair lifts providing effective indoor mobility support and platform lifts accommodating both indoor and outdoor settings. These options are particularly beneficial in homes with limited space or where elevation changes exceed ramp capabilities, and they must be installed with strict safety measures.
