He thoroughly walked through everything with me to listen to what I wanted. He came up with better ideas and I went with his ideas. His stamp is very nice, he colored it green to go with our house color, and then my wife wanted gold flakes, so he did it lol. His guys are super nice and clean up after themselves. Funny part is, he did my other home with a driveway widening a few years ago so it was funny to cross paths with him again."

We didn't really know what we wanted going in, just that we needed to get something done back there to make it more comfortable, and make us more likely to spend time in what was just a solid, gray concrete block. Gabriel helped us design something completely new that neither my wife nor I could dream of. We went from a boring, gray concrete slab, to a beautiful looking new slab which is designed to match our house and look like some older bricks, which we love. If we didn't know it was concrete, we'd never guess. He also insisted on a grass area for our pets, and a nice little garden for our mother-in-law, both of which we love. Concrete deliveries FAQs
One yard of concrete covers a different area depending on its thickness. At four inches thick, one cubic yard of concrete covers about 81 square feet. If you're pouring at five inches thick, it covers around 65 square feet. For a six-inch thickness, expect it to cover approximately 54 square feet. The thicker your slab, the less area one yard of concrete will cover.
The shelf life of concrete depends on whether it's wet or dry. Ready-mixed concrete in its wet form lasts approximately 90 minutes to two hours after water is added, so it is essential to schedule your delivery carefully. Bags of dry concrete mix can last several months if stored properly in a cool, dry place. Moisture exposure can cause the cement to harden or lose strength over time.
An average concrete truck can hold between eight and 11 cubic yards of concrete, although some larger trucks can carry up to 15 cubic yards. However, road weight limits often restrict the amount they can carry, so most deliveries are around eight to 11 cubic yards. Knowing this helps you plan the number of truckloads you'll need for your project.
Pouring concrete doesn't take very long once the truck arrives. One cubic yard of concrete can be poured in about 10 minutes. Therefore, a full truck with 10 cubic yards of material would take approximately one hour and 40 minutes to empty. Keep in mind, though, that preparation and finishing work add time to the overall project.

Sealing your concrete creates a protective barrier that blocks moisture and chemicals, helping to extend its lifespan and maintain its appearance.
