We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. "I had a few concrete steps that I wanted to have repaired before an upcoming home appraisal. (Also, I was growing increasingly worried that I or my mail carrier were going to twist an ankle.) Because the job was a repair, I had a difficult time finding a company willing to come and give me an estimate. After many calls and either outright rejections or no callbacks, Ken from RJL called me and said he could come out the next day to give me an estimate. He was prompt and his estimate was fair, so I told him to go ahead and put the job on his schedule. He asked me when my appraisal was and worked to finish the repair job before that date. The work was only completed today, but it looks great (way better than the patches the previous homeowner used) and he paid great attention to detail in his work. He was efficient, respectful of my time, and genuinely concerned about the quality of the work he was doing.

"I saw Brian's deal on Angie's list, and I called him right away. My husband and I had been pricing roofers for a while, and Brian's price was right in line with our budget. I phoned him and he called back the same day :) Brian's team came over and we reviewed the roof, and we hired him that day. He and his team were professional, kind, and all around good people (my 13 month old loved them). They were also very good at their job! Our roof, as noted, was in pretty bad shape, a little worse then we knew, although expected. Brian took care of it with little adjustment to the price (hooray!). He also helped replace some shingles on our side. When the job was done, his team had our back breezeway and patio looking like new. We will recommend to anyone who needs a roof.
