"Super expensive for 4-5 contractors size trash bag and a fridge from the basement. After paying $250 he was trying to charge $25 extra for a small old carpet roll. Mind well he was helped by 3 other people at my house to take that fridge from the basement and bring it up. Came with no help despite of mentioning it to him couple times. Definitely not a good experience when he came to charge extra where clearly he was helped by 3 people to do his job!"

"We had a "trouble" yard - had a tree removed in our front yard and a large area in our backyard that would not grow grass despite our best efforts. Had Steve and the Stavros team come out. They placed a straw mat with new soil and their patented fescue seed. We had new a thick lawn in about 3 weeks. Work was timely and Steve is very professional. Would highly recommend."

"Really disappointed in the entire experience with grounds quality lawn. Starting with just initiating the job, it took nearly a month to get responses from them and get someone out to start work. I only stuck with it at that point because a family friend said they were good but should have gone with my gut and found another company at that point. The guys they sent were constantly taking breaks and at one point the foreman even grabbed my fishing pole and spent about 30 min fishing while the remaining four watched him. This wouldn't have bothered me as much if the rate I was paying was more reasonable but they were charging me about $600 per hour for the 5 guys so these breaks and fishing sessions were costing me a lot of money. I voiced my concern with the project manager who just made excuses and cared not at all about what was going on. I asked to speak to owner Justin grounds who did the same. Just excused the behavior and had no problem with it whatsoever. All the while no one could explain why the hourly rate was so high when the guys were working so inefficiently. They kept saying the hourly rate was $60 per hour per crew member but charging me double that with no explanation. Not sure if I was just unlucky or if the company is getting complacent and resting on their reputation but I was very unimpressed and I am generally very easy going with these things and rarely complain about having bad service from anyone."
