"BUYER BEWARE!!!!! This company is all about getting their $99.00 for the estimate, selling you an annual service fee and then quoting exuberant prices. Not really sure if they really care about doing the actual plumbing work. Recently gave me an estimate for a job of $500. Learned later after from another plumber that what they wanted to do was actually not correct AND should have cost no more than $250. Had I used Fayette Heating / H20 Mastero, I would have paid $600 for a job done incorrectly. At least the 99.00 I paid kept me from damaging my house further. There are a lot of reputable plumbers in Lexington. Suggest you look elsewhere"

I had a furnace/air system put in and charged over 10,000 when unit itself costs a little over 3,000. Had pipes in kitchen alone done and charged 2,800 and left the wall out from floor to ceiling where pipes went. Now 5 years after purchasing this unit tried to charge me $800 for a part repair that was under warranty so that was for labor alone went elsewhere and had done for $180. They take advantage of people that aren’t knowledgeable on what stuff like this should cost. Don’t appreciate repeat customers and you will never pay a fair price avoid at all costs."

"The bathroom project came out well however it took him months to complete my small bathroom and i had to ask him multiple times about his status. He for a month straight blamed the window guy for the lack of progress on the bathroom. When he said the job was finished there were very clear flaws in the drywall I shouldn't have had to point out and some of the tasks we verbally agreed on like venting bathroom fan he just left laying in the attic. If I didn't check over his work my attic would have had mold growing all over it, I ended up not even pressing him about it and finishing his job myself. At the end of the day he did very well with the tile and he gave me a good price but the time he took to complete the job was a little ridiculous and I was kind of shocked at what he was willing to say was a completed job."

"This was amazing! I had no idea this service existed. After searching and contacting various repair places for my washer, this was the most cost effective option. I figured if it didn't work, my machine is old and I would be out $40, not the $100+ to have a tech come out and just diagnose the problem. I am pretty handy and my washer is old anyway, so if it is broken, I have to get a new one anyway. My tech, Steve, was great! He predicted what was wrong after listening to the machine, calmly walked me through dismantling the machine and when we got down to the motor, he was right! He sent me a link to the part I would need, and let me know to contact them again if I needed help installing it. Experts recommend cleaning your sewer line every 18 to 22 months to prevent clogs from building up and causing damage to the pipes and related installations. Put it on a calendar and perform the cleaning procedure even if you experience no obvious signs of a clog. Look out for telltale warning signs of a significant clog, like gurgling sounds and rotten smells coming from your drain.
The average sewer-cleaning process takes around two hours for a typical home. However, more complex jobs can take up to four or five hours to complete a thorough sewer cleaning. Repairing any damage caused by the clog takes even longer, up to two or three days of work, depending on the severity of the sewer line damage.
You can’t prevent every clog, as they naturally occur over time, but you can drastically reduce their frequency by following common sense steps. Rely on trash cans or the garbage disposal to remove waste, limiting the amount of solid materials that go down the drain. Never flush problem items like dental floss, paper towels, cat litter, or “flushable” wipes. Finally, conduct regular inspections and perform routine maintenance cleanings.
Drain cleaners can sometimes be used as part of a general maintenance routine. Though budget-friendly, these chemicals are often too harsh for pipes and won’t help with major clogs. “Liquid drain openers are better suited to use as part of a regular maintenance program. Pouring a small amount down the drain after running your dishwasher or garbage disposal is a good idea,” says Jeff Botelho, Angi Expert Review Board member and Massachusetts-licensed journeyman plumber. “Cleaning garbage disposals regularly will help keep excess material from entering the building sewer and causing a problem.”
