"Review on Reyes Painting: Jose Reyes was easy to work with all through the duration of the job he was hired for. The job involved removal/replacement of damaged/rotten boards on our deck as well as several siding boards/corner trim around the chimney and the exterior of the house. The entire deck was also repainted. After his initial inspection and estimate of the work to be performed, his price was fair & reasonable. Upon hire, he and his crew of 2 other men were very courteous and punctual on each of the 3 days that the job lasted which was over a 2 week period that was due to a lot of rain. Overall, they did an impressive job and if I could hire him for all other repair jobs at my house, I certainly will. *** He appears to not provide a written estimate but provides a verbal estimate. This was a bit surprising to me but he kept his word and there was never any dispute all through. Upon completion of the job, as a show of my appreciation for their job well done, I added a bonus to the agreed upon verbal estimate."

Painting, Attention to Detail
"Dont go with anyone else--if you want the job done right and look great, these are the guys you want to go with. The pricing is fair compared to others who are extraordinarily high and the job is completed pretty fast. Extremely trustworthy and you dont pay until the job has been completed, no money up front. Anyone who would leave any type of negative review for this company are the type of people who orders a steak, eats all of it, and then complains it was horrible. No mess was left behind, everything was cleaned up nicely."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
