"10 reasons you should consider Ryan: 1. Ryan was very honest upfront with what materials he will use and what work he will perform 2. Due to pandemic and heavy snow in Feb, he accommodated the entire estimate process with photos and FaceTime for an unconventional setup involving new sub panel in my garage 3. He was courteous in answering all my (some naive) questions about the estimate 4. His price is not the lowest, but he used industry grade NEMA 14-50 outlet not the cheap ones 5. He submitted the permit for me (so that we won't have any potential code issues if/when selling the house) 6. He followed up when the permit was approved 7. He showed on time, worked efficiently, and finished the installation within 3.5 hours (2 days later) 8. He did everything he said he would do and used all the materials he said he would use 9. The installation passed the inspection with flying color (inspector commented that "whoever did this did a neat job") 10. Last but not least, he is trustworthy and only took full payment after the pass of the inspection (no other HomeAdvisor contractors provided that kind of peace of mind) and provided one year of warranty on workmanship upon my request (which showed his confidence in his work and which I hope never have to use) => If you live in (central) NJ and need to install a home charging station for EV or PHEV, please don't decide on any contractor w/o getting an estimate from Ryan as well (even if with FaceTime)."

"Overall, this was an exceptional experience. Sam and Mike are the guys you want for your electrical (and general handyman) needs. After installing new flooring in my home, the installers accidentally severed the wiring to my front doorbell. One electrician on Angie's List quoted me $375 just to diagnose the problem. That's ludicrous. Sam reached out to me and offered me a more fair price. And I have to say, this was not an easy fix. Sam and Mike made multiple trips to my home diagnosing the problem, ultimately snaking new wiring, and making certain my Nest doorbell was connecting to the chime. I couldn't have had two better gentlemen in my home. They were exceptionally professional, friendly, and willing to make multiple trips to the local hardware store to pick up supplies on my behalf. The final invoice was fair for the amount of work they put into the job. Do not let other electricians bully you with insane diagnostic fees before they even begin the work."

"The job - hooking up a new sauna heater. All wiring did already exist. The price quote = $475 + tax = $506. Did not finish the job. The technician either did not read the manual, or was just not able. Demanded payment in cash. Departed in rush, left no receipt. It took a while to get them to communicate, and receive the invoice and the receipt. Meanwhile destroyed the operational lighting inside the sauna. When asked to connect back, tried to bullshit talking about absent "neutral wire", and suggesting to make the "neutral wire" for additional $175. All this standing near the light bulb 110 V. I was forced to hire another professional to complete the job. Summary: Nothing but bad feelings for a half-thousand bucks. "
