"Before hiring Powerhouse Remodeling to demolish and replace our deck with a new pressure treated deck, we obtained three other quotes. Steve Edwards the owner of Powerhouse came out personally to evaluate our project. Based on first impressions Steve and Powerhouse was the most impressive of all. He sat with my wife and me and made many suggestions and gave us much information. He gladly answered all of our questions and spent as much time with us as we felt was necessary. His quote was not the lowest, but was close enough not to disqualify him. And he was so confident in his work that he required only a 10% deposit as compared to the 15% to 20% required by other contractors. I'm so pleased that we did hire Steve and his Powerhouse Remodeling. Jose was the Project Manager on the job for Powerhouse. He is a hard working, dedicated and knowledgeable professional. Jose did most of the work on the deck and made sure that his men did everything correctly. It was a joy to work with both Steve and Jose. They were extremely responsive to our comments and requests. When the deck was completed, Jose and his men did a terrific job in cleaning up. I guess the best thing I can say about Steve Edwards and his Powerhouse Remodeling Company is that he did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. He is honest and trustworthy. "Excellent workmanship. They came in and repaired a disaster created by the original contractor that put the laminate flooring in. They had to take up more than half of the entire floor. Their pricing for the job was very reasonable. They came, looked at what had to be done and provided a quote. The first day they reported on time and completed more than half of the project, however, day two they were two hours late and was not responding to phone calls to confirm their arrival time. Day three they were two hours late, but eventually called and gave an arrival time. Overall, because of the excellent workmanship and cleanup, I would recommend this company to others."
