"I hired Jovel to build stairs, retaining walls and planters connecting my existing patio to a new patio that I also hired Jovel's company to build. The stairs, retaining wall and planters were completed in September. In October, I had a licensed inspector at my home for another project and he pointed out that the stairs Jovel had built did not meet code. The inspector stated that stairs must be of equal rise and the lower and upper stairs were not in acceptable range with the other two. He also stated that three or more stairs required a handrail and that the stairs were POOR construction. Jovel has refused to correct the issue or refund any money paid. Please see pics for inspection report."

There were Few good size areas that I could scrape the asphalt away with my shoe and see absolute dirt. The driveway already has grass growing in a few places and the driveway is rough. When you look at other driveways in the neighborhood they’re nice and smooth. I contacted the company several times and they said they would be back…. lol .. yeah right! It’s been just about a year and nothing. Last time I spoke with them in late spring of this year they said their equipment was broken down and didn’t know when they would be back up and running… well here it is, 4 months later after i was told that and no word at all.."

We searched for a paving contractor with an excellent reputation and after receiving several estimates we selected O. Cooper. We were unable to physically be onsite to go over the project but that didn't matter as Billy suggested we meet via FaceTime. He arrived at the property on time, and we were able to walk the project virtually discussing our vision and expectations. He promptly provided us with a very detailed estimate of the work to be performed along with a price quote. Once onsite we were impressed with the obvious preparation, coordination, and execution of the project. We are so pleased with the way the driveway turned out and are grateful to O.
